Experienced Secondary Teacher | EAL, VCE Business Management, & Piano

Hello! I’m a qualified and experienced secondary school teacher in Melbourne, passionate about helping students build confidence, improve their skills and achieve their learning goals.

As a practising high school teacher, I have experience teaching students from diverse linguistic and educational backgrounds. I currently teach English as an Additional Language (EAL), Humanities and VCE Business Management, and I also offer private piano lessons for beginners and intermediate students.

My teaching is structured, supportive and tailored to each student. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach — I take the time to understand how each student learns, identify areas for improvement, and provide clear explanations, guided practice and targeted feedback.

🌱 My teaching approach
I aim to create a learning environment where students feel supported, challenged and confident.
I break complex concepts into manageable steps, use examples and guided practice to build understanding, and gradually help students become more independent learners. Most importantly, I want students to leave each lesson feeling that they have learned something new and made progress.
Whether your child needs additional support with English, wants to achieve stronger results in VCE Business Management, or simply wants to learn piano, I would love to help.
If you’re looking for a patient, experienced and reliable tutor who understands both the classroom and the curriculum, please feel free to get in touch.
