Native speaker.... I enjoy teaching Italian.
As a current student of French, I am only too well aware of the issues concerning language acquisition as an adult!

I have taught English as a second language which has enabled me to construct lessons which are more meaningful to non-native speakers.

My availability is reasonably flexible - your place or mine, or I often meet with students in a mutually suitable library, which works out very well.

I can tutor at all levels and will structure lessons according to the student's needs and level.

I also work with small groups - if you have 3-5 friends who want to improve their Italian - oral, grammar or combination of both - please contact me for discount rates. I have also conducted "book-club" type sessions where a suitable book is used as the basis for lessons - great practice for reading and comprehension and grammar acquisition. Can provide suitable texts at a small cost.

Experience

I have tutored both year 12 and adult students in the past 25 years.
I am a native Italian speaker and as I travel to Italy periodically my language is current.
I also teach a Beginners Italian Course at U3A, but my preference is to work with individual students or small groups at a more advanced level.

Qualifications

I have a Bachelor of Education with a degree in English.

Rates

If there is more than one student, the second or third student only pay $30 per hour....
therefore, for two students the total cost would be $45.00 each per hour, three students $40.00 each per hour.
