I am a North Sydney-based private tutor with over 9 years of experience tutoring more than 100 students across primary school, high school and university levels.

I graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Distinction), alongside a Professional Mandarin Diploma. I also work professionally as a journalist and editor, which closely informs my tutoring in English, writing and essay structure.

I currently offer tutoring online or from my home office in North Sydney, within walking distance of several local schools.

Approach:
My lessons focus on clear writing, structured argument and exam technique, with sessions tailored to each student.
Having worked with a large number of students over the past decade, I place particular emphasis on helping students develop strong analytical writing skills and confidence in their work.

I offer limited tutoring placements each term to ensure students receive consistent support and detailed feedback.

November 2018-June 2019: Smart Dragon in Chatswood.
2018-2021: Private tuition of over 10 HSC students, and also specialised in tutoring mature-age students in Law completing LPAB, undergraduate/postgraduate Law degrees and criminology.
2021-Present: Continued to privately tutor a select few of students as I completed my Bachelor of Law, Commerce and Diploma of Professional Mandarin and moved into my professional career.

HSC Results: 95/100 in English Advanced, 47/50 in English Extension 1, 47/50 in Chinese Extension, 94/100 in Legal Studies.
Vice-President of UNSW Law Society in 2019 and Socials Director of UNSW Law Society in 2018.
Accomplished public speaker, having undertaken Trinity ATCL Diploma.
Successfully competed at multiple university national debating tournaments, ranked 10th best team in 2019 at Australian Intervarsity Debating Championships.
Represented UNSW in 2018 at WFUNA Model UN Conference in New York.
