8+ Years High School Tutoring Experience | ATAR 97.9 | English, Maths, Business Studies, Society & Culture, Legal Studies, & Commerce

Hi, I’m Yasmine. I’m a high-achieving Macquarie University graduate with over eight years of tutoring experience. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) / Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning, and I was awarded DUX of my school in both Year 11 and Year 12, achieving an ATAR of 97.9. I’ve worked in the financial planning industry for five years and am now a facilitator of financial literacy workshop sessions in high schools. I achieved five Band 6s, was named on NESA’s Distinguished Achievers list, and ranked first in my school cohort at St Philip’s Christian College in 2017.

I am passionate about helping students reach their academic goals and genuinely enjoy working alongside each student to unlock their full potential. When we work together, I’ll take the time to understand your learning style and tailor our sessions to your specific needs. Whether you need help understanding content, preparing for exams, receiving feedback on assessments, or breaking down complex ideas, I work with you to build the confidence and skills you need to succeed.
I know first-hand how much a great tutor can improve a student’s confidence. I bring a wealth of current resources and can tailor my approach to each student’s learning style. I am also happy to assist with essay planning, and proofreading assignments, and helping students develop a study plan to build strong time management skills.

I ranked first in my school cohort in all of the following subjects:
• Legal Studies: Band 6
• Business Studies: Band 6
• Society & Culture: Band 6
• English Advanced: Band 5
• Mathematics Advanced: Band 6
• Mathematics Extension 1: Band 6
