Hi, I'm Jennifer! In 2018, I achieved a 99+ ATAR from selective entry school, Mac.Robertson Girls High School. After, I completed a Bachelors of Biomedicine and the Doctor of Dental Surgery at MelbUni. Having successfully navigated my own high school years and pursued higher education, I have developed strong skills and gained valuable insights along the way. I have conquered challenging subjects, overcome academic hurdles, and honed my abilities in critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication. Together, we will make your high school experience an extraordinary one filled with knowledge, growth, and endless possibilities!

VCE Scores:
- English Literature (SS 49)
- Maths Methods (SS 44)
- Specialist Maths (SS 44)
- Biology (SS 43)
- Chemistry (SS 42)

Currently only offering English Tuition: ALL YEAR LEVELS

Having achieved a score of 49 in Literature (top 0.3% of the state), I am offering English tuition providing my own resources + detailed feedback + high-scoring 20/20 essays and text responses.
Literature is often perceived as the 'Specialist Maths of English', mostly because the subject largely depends on the student's ability to form sophisticated interpretations of the text and thus articulate these ideas onto pen and paper. Both of these skills require consistent practice and creativity that can appear intimidating.
At the beginning of year 12, I was struggling to barely understand the basic philosophies behind poetry, the traditional language of Shakespeare, the many theoretical perspectives, but most of all, like many Literature students, the biggest challenge was simply finessing a unique writing style that is both clear and eloquent.
If this is you, there is hope.
As your literature/english tutor, I bring to the table an intimate knowledge of various literary genres, techniques, and themes. From analyzing the symbolism in classic novels to deciphering the intricacies of poetry, I am well-versed in the art of literary analysis. I will guide you through close reading, critical thinking, and the development of persuasive arguments, enabling you to excel in your literature studies.
