I had an excellent experience with my Math Methods tutor, Dr. Nilanka Gurusinghe, this year. His teaching style was highly effective, clearly structured, and consistently easy to follow. He demonstrated a strong understanding of the curriculum and was able to break down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps. Throughout the year, I felt supported, encouraged, and well-guided in my learning. His patience, clarity, and willingness to revisit difficult topics made a significant difference to my confidence and overall improvement. I am extremely grateful for the dedication and assistance he provided, and I would highly recommend him to any student seeking strong academic support in Math Methods. |

I had the opportunity to be tutored by Nilanka for Unit 1 and 2 General Math, and he was incredibly helpful throughout the process. Even when some concepts were difficult to grasp at first, Nilanka had a way of explaining things clearly and in a way that actually made sense. He was patient, approachable, and always willing to go over problems until I felt confident. Thanks to his guidance, I felt much more prepared and less stressed about my assessments. thankyou a lot for helping me pass majority of my SAC's. |

I appreciate Dr Gurusinghe's openness to following a class structure decided by us as students, which allowed us to work on areas of weakness especially in regards to upcoming SACS. |

Dr Nilanka is a good tutor, very technical at times but good nonetheless. For students who like an extremely steady paced (not overly fast) environment, would recommend. Dr Nilanka is pretty knowledgeable and logical and will help when students need. Maths is not my favorite subject, but tutoring from Dr Nilanka did help. |

Nilanka is a great Methods and Specialist maths tutor. He taught material in a way that ensured I understood the concepts and he’s very helpful at going over tests from school to help understand what I did wrong, and how to improve in the future. He chooses a range of problems varying in difficulty depending on the student’s ability in a certain topic. He’s never late and will always let you know in advance if a class is going to be cancelled. |
