We engaged Phil to tutor our daughter when she changed from a progressive school to a mainstream high school. There were some gaps in her knowledge which affected her confidence in the classroom. Within a term, with Phil’s expertise, patience and kindness, our daughter closed the gap and finished the semester with grades we were all really proud of. We continued tutoring the following term when we took a family sabbatical in Europe. Phil worked with our daughter online delivering a term of math work based on the school’s term plan via zoom and videos and as a result, our daughter goes back to school confident that she hasn’t missed anything. He was so flexible with our travel schedule and went above and beyond- we couldn’t recommend him highly enough. |

My daughter had always excelled at junior level maths, but really needed support in methods. Phil is an amazing educator, but he also provided an incredibly supportive and encouraging environment. Every time I picked my daughter up from her session she was upbeat and energised about a subject that was absolutely not her favourite. Phil is unbelievably good as a tutor for my Daughter.
She struggles with some of the concepts, and after a session with Phil comes out beaming because she finally 'gets' it.
The rapport he builds with the students is exceptional. He is universally recognised as one of the best tutors in our region.
He is also very flexible if I have to make changes to the schedule. My daughter has put in the review points - Great in all areas.

I can’t recommend Phil highly enough. He has been the most incredible support for my son during year 11 and 12 Maths Methods. I am currently in year 8 and Mr Coppock has been my maths tutor for the past 2.5 years. I have him once a week and he has helped me greatly improve my maths skills along with my confidence in maths class.
