I was despondent at the start of the year, my fellow cohort had preparatory biology 3/4 knowledge and i had joined the subject late, i was way behind in everything.
The first SAC had left me in shambles. In search of a great Biology Tutor i had found Dulitha, well prepped, explains things in real life analogies, extensions into the real world and most of all helped me conquer the trials of VCAA. The classes were fun and engaging and helped me pick up my pace in Biology by miles. Dulithas classes had reconfigured my impression of Bio and i had went from detesting the subject to loving it.

Dulitha is an amazing Biology 1/2 tutor. His lessons are really engaging, structured and easy to follow. He explains the harder topics really easy to follow by breaking them down into smaller bit size pieces. His practice questions and worksheets were also very detailed yet simple.
Even outside of class, he was super supportive and easy to reach out to whenever I had questions about anything from Biology to just general VCE. If I was stuck on a question or needed extra help before a SAC, I could ask him for help and he'd help me understand the topic and anything to do with my queries.
The classes were always engaging and had such a positive vibe. Dulitha is very passionate about the subject, so it made the lessons fun and relatable. Everyone felt comfortable asking questions and contributing to discussions. |

Dulitha has been an incredible Biology tutor for 3/4. His classes are very structured, clear and cover every part of the study design while also giving extra context that makes the content stick. He explains the "why" behind concepts which makes it easier to understand and remember.
What stood out to me is how approachable and patient he is. Whenever I had questions, he would take the time to explain in different ways until I fully understood. He also makes lessons engaging, often breaking down heavy content with diagrams, scenarios, and analogies that made even the hardest topics manageable.
Another thing I really appreciated was how exam-focused the course was. From early on, we would do past SACs after each area of study, and as soon as we finished the content lessons, we moved straight into Exam prep.
Overall, I would highly recommend Dulitha as a tutor; he not only helps you master Biology but also builds your confidence and makes the subject far less overwhelming. |

If you're doing biology 3/4, Dulitha is the tutor to go to. His classes are well thought out and he puts a lot of effort into his slides to make the most complex topics really easy to understand.
Dulitha provides a wide variety of resources that helps you prepare for your SACs, exams and with the content itself, where just by reading his slides you can easily understand the hardest topics. His weekly homework sheets are also very useful in helping you understand, remember and apply the knowledge taught in class.
Aside from his classes, he's very committed and genuinely wants all of his students to achieve the highest study score possible. He is always available outside of class and makes sure that you understand the stuff you are learning even if it means him going out of his way to put in extra effort for you. Dulitha is honestly one of the best tutors I have had. He is so organised and his sessions are super structured, which makes the content and topics easy to follow. Biology was a subject that I was going to drop at the end of year 11, but tutoring with Dulitha for Biology 3/4 has not only helped me get much better marks then I did in year 11, but has also made me actually love the subject! Dulitha covers every single dot point from the study design and even more little extension topics so you have a comprehensive and in depth understanding of every topic, so by the time exams come around, you are more than prepared!
Dulitha also gives us tips and tricks to help remember the important concepts for biology (which is an extremely content heavy subject) however in the way Dulitha explains the content, studying for biology isn't as daunting. Starting exam preparations earlier on in the year has helped me to feel confident in the topics covered at the start of the year much in advance, so all I have to study is the little nuances that VCAA exams include to try and trick you, which Dulitha explains and goes through in his classes. His comprehensive analysis of exams and the content has eased the stress for me throughout the year as a year 12 student with 101 other things going on.
Dulitha is always willing to help and always available for us to ask him questions at any time. He is always providing us with a ton of resources to help us excel. Tutoring with Dulitha has helped me immensely this year. |

I had joined another biology tutor previously. I wasn’t happy. Just 2 weeks out of my SAC I joined Dulitha and he helped teach me from start to finish whilst giving me a much better understanding of content compared to the 8 weeks with my last tutor. His heavy emphasis on understanding rather than memorising helped me better learn and retain content without the heavy reliance of flashcards for every detail of content.
He was able to finish content early whilst pacing at a good rate and listing his recordings so we can revisit anytime we desire. Dulitha started exams early which helped us feel less stressed for the end of year exam and gave a better understand behind the mind of an examiner.
Dulitha doesn’t end his input at his weekly zoom sessions. He genuinely wants every one of his students to succeed. He was able to clearly answer my countless queries regarding the content, questions I was stuck on or just general questions. I highly recommend Dulitha's tutoring! His bio lessons are compact and straight-forward. His notes are so easy to read that I think I've looked at them more times than I've looked at my textbook. He makes it interactive and uses clearly-drawn diagrams. He knows the content well and is able to precisely help you with your weak points. He has exam revision-style classes which he starts a tad earlier than others. These classes are amazing as it gives you a more accurate feel of what the actual exam will be like, but with in-depth feedback and solutions by Dulitha himself. Most of all, he is not only a good biology teacher but a good person! He is always available to help you with any work but he'll do more than that, checking on you and giving general life/VCE tips along the way as well. |

Highly Recommended!! Dulitha's tutoring program is effective and efficient, in terms of delivering the best possible resources for the bio 3/4 course. He teaches us in a way that is not only easy to understand, but also engaging. The way that the tutoring program is structured is extremely beneficial and advantageous, as it runs ahead of school, giving us enough time to master the content way before the sacs. As well as being a great tutor, Dulitha is a kind and approachable person. We are able to ask him questions about literally anything, at anytime, and always receive a prompt reply. Doing Biology under Dulitha genuinely helped me understand the subject so much more. He has a great teaching style and an even better personality and really tries to connect with the people he teaches on a personal level. Every week, he would ask us how school had been going so far, and what we were doing in Bio in class. He's also very entertaining, cracking jokes here and there to keep things light even during heavy content sessions. He really tries to go above and beyond for his students as well, encouraging us to ask him questions about anything, bio-related, school-related or life in general, and he tries his best to reply as soon as possible. He helped me with all the questions and help I needed to complete my poster SAC, for example, and he was really patient with me despite me going up to 40 minutes overtime on a few classes asking him for help. Dulitha also exposes us to exam questions from the start of the year at the end of each lesson, helping us begin to think about how we will use the information we learn in each class to actually answer the types of questions that will be given to us come end of year. His teaching style is also great, and he makes an effort to go into great detail about what he teaches, using analogies and drawing diagrams to help us visualise and imagine what we learn. Overall, great teacher and even greater guy, would definitely recommend him as a tutor. |

Heading into U3/4 Biology, I didn't expect to do well after failing U1, which caused me to hate biology. However, Dulitha has made this subject enjoyable and interesting by making sure each student feels comfortable with the content. He guides you on how to answer questions promptly and efficiently, while giving you all the common mistakes, tricks and tips on questions. His lessons are very organised, and he teaches you the content in a manner that is very easy to understand and remember, such as by giving analogies, mnemonics and diagram examples for a more visual understanding. By choosing to learn with Dulitha, I went to getting grades that were beyond my expectations! |

All of his classes are extremely well structured and interactive which allowed me to really understand the crux of the topics discussed helping my understanding. Dulitha provides countless resources that absolutely carry for SACs and exams. I highly recommend Dulitha’s tutoring if you’re looking for a 3/4 biology tutor. Dulitha provides great resources (slides/notes, homework sheets, past sacs/exams and more) that prepares you for sacs as well as exams, giving you an upper advantage over the other students. He explains concepts in detail and is dedicated to answer/explain any questions I have. In addition, Dulitha makes sure that every student understand the content by interacting with the class each session. Dulitha is a friendly, supportive and caring tutor/person. His tutor classes are fun, helpful and easy to follow along. Choosing tutoring sessions from Dulitha was most definitely the best decision I could have made for VCE Biology.
To be completely honest, I was borderline failing Biology in Yr 11 and I completely hated the subject. After a few lessons with Dulitha, he completely transformed the subject into something that I loved and was excited to do. He takes the time and effort to craft his lessons which entail his homemade powerpoints consisting of high quality notes, while also ending off the lesson with exam-style questions to consolidate learning.
A significant characteristic of Dulitha is that he genuinely cares about you and your learning and truly wants you to succeed. Thus, making it far more easy to understand the content as he is constantly there to answer your questions in as much detail as possible.
Not only is he incredibly intelligent, but he is also a very genuine person with a hilarious personality making zoom lessons extremely enjoyable. Tutoring didn't feel like something I dreaded to do like with all my other tutors, Dulitha made learning Biology actually enjoyable.
I didn't think I would ever miss a tutor after completing studies until Dulitha and if I could give more than 5 stars I would. |

If you're planning on doing Bio 3/4, I highly recommend joining tutoring with Dulitha! I started lessons with him midway through the year and definitely wish I would've joined sooner! He is great at going through content, one on one and in a group setting, always ensuring that the lessons are interactive and entertaining yet thorough. After starting tutoring with him I felt more confident going into sacs and saw real time results and improvements! Dulitha also starts exam preparation early, ensuring you're as prepared as possible. It is clear that he is invested in making sure we get the best results possible, as he puts in so much of his personal time and goes the extra mile for our learning. For example his annotates and writes sample answers for all exam questions we go through and has always answered questions super fast and thoroughly, anytime during the week. I am beyond grateful for having joined his tutoring, and could not recommend joining his classes more :) |

Dulitha is a great tutor. He teaches Biology in a way that's easy to understand and breaks down all the complexities into bite-sized portions making the course much easier to navigate. Prior to doing tutoring with Dulitha, I was not doing so well in biology and I hated the subject. After just a few lessons, biology felt way less daunting. The lessons break down the study design in a systematic way so that you can focus on what you need to know. On top of this, he also includes some content that is not stated directly in the study design but appears in VCAA exams giving you an edge over the other students.
The classes are very interactive as Dulitha allows you to think about the questions and to come up with an answer rather than spoon-feeding all the content. He prioritises learning the content, without jeopardising understanding, so that the class can move on to exam preparation early. His sample answers that he provides give you a very good model to base your answers on so you can maximise the number of marks in your exam.
His great personality, sense of humour and commitment to the students is the cherry on top, he is always active on Messenger, ready to answer any question or queries you might have about biology. Dulitha is an amazing person and tutor. |

If you are looking for a biology tutor, Dulitha is definitely the way to go! Not only does he go through all the necessary content during his lessons, he also makes them engaging as well. He has a great personality and is constantly cracking jokes throughout his lessons as well as always getting to know his students better. He teaches in a way that makes sure everyone has a clear understanding of the topic and doesn't move on until everyone is proficient by using various diagrams, annotations as well as past exam questions. Furthermore, by joining this tutoring group, you get well ahead of the course and start exam revision well before the final exam. During these exam revision sessions, he goes through past exam questions and teaches you how to accurately answer all types of exam questions. Even better, he is always active outside of these lessons, so you can always rely on him getting back to you ASAP when you have questions or queries outside of the lessons. All in all he is a lifesaver when it comes to VCE Biology :). |

Dulitha delivered the biology content in a way that actually made sense to me. The lessons were engaging and much better than my school teacher. Tutoring with him has helped me gain confidence in myself and my capabilities in terms of biology and my marks have been so much better than unit 1/2 :)

Highly recommend dulitha as a tutor. One thing I loved about his tutoring is he compares everything to real life scenarios, this is so so helpful because it stays in your long term memory. He provides a detailed PowerPoint every lesson and goes through explaining it, he draws diagrams and annotate them descriptively. This is so so help, as a visual learning seeing how all the information links to a picture, really help you understand the content. He also goes through passed exam questions after he finishes explaining the content. Again such a good idea as the first time your exposed to the content it might in one ear out the other. But having secondary exposure and seeing how the info will be asked in a q is really helpful to help you understand. He also starts his end of year exam revision at least 2-3 months before your exam which really prepares you and helps with the anxiety of preparation.

Dulitha’s tutoring lessons consisted of going through power points in which he would draw extensive diagrams, and create helpful analogies in order for us to remember everything. Personally I barely looked at the notes my school gave me as his were in much more depth and clearly set out. At the end of each lesson we would have to answer practice exam questions and then go through how to properly answer them, which seems daunting however it is great preparation for your sacs and exams as you’re ahead of your school. He sends you surveys after every lesson to ensure you understand the content and asks how he can change his teaching to better fit your learning style. He is also always available for you to message him questions… even 20 minutes before your sac like I did. |
