Yuki-san is amazing. I'm so lucky to work with her every week. I've been in and out of learning Japanese, and last year, finally decided I wanted to focus on it seriously. I have a lot of gaps in my knowledge as my journey hasn't really been linear. Yuki-san is patient, professional, encouraging and a lot of fun! I so look forward to our weekly lessons. I highly recommend Yuki-san no matter your age or what level of Japanese you're at. |

Yuki is an excellent teacher that is very flexible with my busy schedule.
Lessons are very personalised. My lessons have been a combination of textbook and real life interactions. This keeps me engaged and always excited to learn.

The lessons with Yuki are very enjoyable and well structured. Yuki structures the lessons in a casual setting with a lot of speaking, listening and reading involved. She has made the effort to create her own textbook which is made to greatly help Japanese learners via many visual aids and drawings contained within. In addition to this, Yuki often repeats concepts until I have understood it at a suitable pace. Yuki is always punctual and has a very motivating way of teaching. I highly recommend lessons with Yuki for Japanese learners. |

Kind, caring, passionate and patient, through my time spent with Yuki my Japanese has gone from knowing nothing of the language to being able to speak both formally and informally in fluent sentences.

My partner and I did private lessons with Yuki before travelling Japan. Yuki adjusted her lessons plans according to what was relevant for us. She is an incredible teacher - kind, patient and her methods make learning the language as manageable and simple as possible. We are so grateful to have found Yuki and would recommend her to anybody wanting to learn Japanese! Thank you Yuki :) |

I have been learning Japanese from Yuki for over 2 years and it has been a great experience. Yuki is a very thoughtful and encouraging teacher who puts a lot of thought into how to best tailor the material to ensure the lessons are engaging and fun. Yuki is very patient and supportive which has allowed me to learn at my own pace and to work through challenges positively. I would highly recommend Yuki to anyone interested in learning Japanese either as a beginner or as a previous learner. I do not believe my proficiency of the Japanese language would be where it is today if not for Yuki. Arigatou Yuki! |

I feel very lucky that I can find Yuki 先生 to be my Japanese teacher. Yuki先生 is always very kind and patient. She explains very well about the words or grammar that I am confused with. She likes to give the examples and stories to make the class more interesting. After one-year study, I’m so happy that I can communicate with my Japanese friends in Japanese. If you want to study Japanese, I’ll highly recommend Yuki先生!! |

I cannot recommend Yuki Matsukawa highly enough for her Japanese lessons. I began with in-person lessons and eventually moved to online lessons - these were very good by the way!
Yuki is a fantastic teacher; she is incredibly patient, very friendly, and very knowledgable. She provided me supplementary worksheets that summarised each lesson, and moved into progressively more difficult content at my own pace.
When I don't have lessons booked, I can still take my time learning at home.

Yuki Sensei is such a kind, caring and great tutor. She has helped me further my knowledge in not only the Japanese language but the culture. She is very passionate with her teachings and she is available pretty much all the time for any questions that you have and I think that is amazing and shows how much she puts into her tutoring. She provides teaching in a creative way with her drawings on instagram and the charts that she does all herself. Yuki sensei you are the best, thank you! |

Yuki Sensei is an amazing tutor!
She is very patient and adapts the lesson to the pace that's right for me.
Ms Yuki's lesson format is what sets her apart! Her personal tailored material and lesson content goes above and beyond that of a tutor; she puts her heart and soul into everything!
I believe one of the most invaluable attributes of Yuki Sensei for me is how she gives such clear and comprehensible explanations as to the "how's" and "why's" of the Japanese/English differing language structures.
I would highly recommend Ms Yuki for any level, wanting to go for their JLPT, or simply interested in the Japanese language/culture. |

I have taken lessons with Yuki Sensei for quite some time now and her benefit to my studies has been immeasurable! Her textbook pdf's are easy to digest within a lesson to then review during the week to make sure it sticks. I usually come prepared for class with a list of things I have been stuck with in my own study time and Yuki can always help me to understand whats wrong which often opens up discussion to other areas of the language I was unaware of. I cannot recommend Yuki enough if you are looking to begin studying Japanese or need someone to help you push through to the next level :D |
