I've really enjoyed learning Japanese with Taka. He is incredibly attentive and detail oriented. During every lesson, he keeps track of the mistakes we make and any questions we ask, then sends us relevant notes afterwards so we can review and reinforce what we've learned.
I also love that he uses a variety of learning materials instead of just sticking to a textbook. We've read Tadoku graded readers, and even gone on fun excursions like shopping at Aldi to learn the names of everyday grocery items in Japanese. These real life activities make the lessons much more engaging and memorable.
Every class is enjoyable because it feels like more than just a language lesson. We get to chat, learn about Japanese culture, and have meaningful cultural exchanges. The hour always flies by before I even realize it.
If you're looking for a tutor who is approachable, attentive, detail oriented, and makes every lesson both fun and practical, look no further. I highly recommend Taka! |

Taka-san is a wonderful tutor! He's very good at explaining and breaking things down, and has really helped me with my speaking and general comprehension. He's always looking for new ways to teach grammar and other concepts practically, such as reading the news or watching videos! I'm always glad to have my weekly lesson with him. |

I have now had my 10th lesson with Takanobu Nakajima, and I am very happy with my progress of learning Japanese with his assistance. I always feel confident that he will help me understand any challenges that I face. His enthusiastic attitude not only helps me learn effectively, but makes me enjoy learning. I really appreciate all the effort he puts in to every one of our lessons. Takanobu is a great teacher, and I always look forward to our weekly lesson. |

It was great to learn Japanese with assistance of Takanobu Nakajima. Not only was he great at understanding what I wanted from our lessons, he helped me understand what I would need to do outside of the lesson to fully develop my skills for the future.
