Mr Verkhatsky provided comprehensive and effective tutoring, cultivated by years of experience. He is distinguished by his in-depth knowledge of the VCE course, and his SAC-focussed and exam-optimised strategies. Mr Verkhatsky is always prepared to give clear, thorough, and succinct explanations on key Physics concepts that aid in conceptual understanding rather than rote memorisation. It is through this straightforward mode of teaching that I was able to quickly grasp concepts that would otherwise take weeks of instruction.
It is of note that one cannot succeed in the VCE by studying Physics concepts alone, but by also learning how VCAA phrases their questions and understanding what they expect in responses. Mr Verkhastsky has a keen instinct for understanding the finer details of past exam questions and teaching students like myself how to identify and systemise recurring question patterns for greater exam success. Beyond his excellent teaching skills, Mr Verkhatsky is also a reassuring and encouraging individual, whose calm and composed nature renders classes conducive for growth despite any hurdles.
It is by virtue of these considerations that Mr Verkhatsky is indeed a magnificent tutor for Physics in particular. Regardless of the student's current ability, he will work with them personally and help them advance to the next level. |

Yuriy has helped me become confident in physics to the point where I really enjoy the subject due to my understanding. He has an extremely extensive and organised set of resources and he always brought extra questions to challenge my knowledge whenever I asked. Yuriy for the past 3 years was able to help me understand topics within an hour that I had a lot of trouble understanding whilst at school. He always came extremely prepared and has the most extensive collection of practice materials and solutions that I have ever seen. Yuriy also knew how to identify my weaknesses well and would have specific materials to help me improve. He was able to accommodate to what time I was available despite his very busy schedule and made online classes an option as well. Yuriy is extremely knowledgable, helpful and honestly just supportive and nice as well I highly reccomend him as a tutor. |

I started lessons with Yuriy when I was a struggling year 8 who wasn’t sure if I was capable enough to remain in the extension class and finish methods in year 11. But with Yuriy’s help my results and knowledge gradually improved and led me to finish Methods in year 11. He is a great tutor who can explain things clearly, is very helpful and very friendly. |

Mr Yuriy Verkhatsky, is ultimately one of the most finest vce tutor you can find in Melbourne. He is a great teacher and with him, I achieved a great mark in Physics. He is also very approachable and certainly is very interested in teaching students these subjects. He also provides an abundant amount of work which is extremely helpful. His tuition has certainly helped me improve a lot. He also helped me resolve all the doubts I asked him during class.
My parents and I were very happy about his physics lessons and now I am continuing specialist maths lessons with him. |

Yuriy was an excellent physics tutor for myself, allowing me to increase very inconsistent results around the 3-4 mark up to a 6 in the final exam, one mark off a 7! The lessons were very flexible which I felt was extremely beneficial as I was able to spend some time asking questions about theory, and then really drill that home through extensive banks of questions which Yuriy provided. He also offered great advice in regards to my physics IA. Overall I am really glad to have been a student of Yuriy and wish him the best for the future. |

Yuri is one of the strongest mentors I have met.

Yuriy was incredibly organised and devised a special learning program to reach the goals i needed to in a
relatively short amount of time. I would not have been able to pass university physics or get the study
score required in mathematical methods to gain admission into Melbourne University without him. Despite
