Lancia is an incredibly efficient, compassionate tutor with a passion for teaching. Lancia has guided me every step of the way in the humanities section of the GAMSAT with various strategies to tackle both sections. Her structured lessons and the pre-readings in preparation for our lessons has helped me better understand certain themes to generate interesting ideas for the essay writing section. Above all, Lancia is a very friendly and approachable tutor who is willing to tailor her teaching style to address student specific learning needs. I am forever grateful to Lancia for helping me overcome the humanities section of GAMSAT and to finally receive 2 offers to study Medicine. |

I cannot recommend Lancia enough to anyone looking to sit the GAMSAT. Section 2 of the GAMSAT was the section that I dreaded the most. At the start of my GAMSAT study journey, I wasn’t even able put my thoughts onto paper; I struggled to understand what was required in a section 2 essay, and how to structure my responses fast enough to fit within the 30 Minutes time limit. Once I got in touch with Lancia, she provided me with essay scaffolds that were extremely easy to understand and apply. In addition, the lessons with Lancia helped me grasp various themes and ideas, as well as develop my own ideas to use in my essays. Above all, Lancia is a wonderful person to work with and I always looked forward to our lessons. From the start Lancia made me feel very comfortable, which allowed me to share and develop ideas openly without the stress of being wrong. Thanks to Lancia, I was able to overcome my section 2 struggles and receive an offer to study medicine. |

I can't speak highly enough of Lancia, she is a dedicated, supportive and patient tutor.
Before I contacted Lancia, I was struggling to get a start on my essay, was worried I
wouldn't pass, as previous to contacting Lancia, I had failed an essay for this subject and
this would be my second attempt.
My mind was put at ease, just after my first conversation with Lancia, and that was just
to make a consultation time!
Lancia went above and beyond to help me, the due date for my essay was fast
approaching and my time availability was restricted due to work commitments, Lancia
offered to consult with me out of her normal working hours, which I cannot thank her
enough for. Lancia ensured she had full knowledge of the topic my essay was on and
even provided me with secondary reading sources to help me understand the topic better.

Lancia is very nice and helpful person. I believe, Lancia always gave me great feedback. She had constructive, concrete

I was lucky I found Lancia .
My tutor is a practical and very innovative teacher. Teaching me English, she gives me confidence in the different aspects of the language.

It is my first year at university and I found it extremely difficult especially coming from a background with no academic knowledge/skills. Lancia structured lessons around my level of education and level of knowledge which i had no essay writing skills at all. I went to the 5 tutorials ran by my institute for academic writing/referencing and essay structure for mature age and 1st year students and gained nothing from it. The one on one lessons with Lancia helped me gain a better understanding. Thanks to Lancia I have gone from 42 fail, to a 63 pass and by the following semester my goal is to achieve a credit. Lancia is an excellent motivator and has great communication skills via email, telephone and face to face lessons. I`ve had a couple of lessons with Lancia and over 30 email and phone conversations past the last 3 months I’ve known her. Lancia taught me not only what is expected at a university level but gave me the confidence to pursue my dreams as a primary school teacher. Now i am a single mother who is more determined then ever to finish my bachelor of social science and master of teaching. |
