I have been taking lessons in learning how to speak and write Thai with Amy for several years now.
She is an excellent teacher able to modify the lessons to cater for each individual student's needs.
She can teach both formal and casual Thai, and for those that are interested she can also teach the North Eastern dialect of Thai, Isaan.
Her classes are held in a fun and friendly environment. |

Amy Nui is an outstanding Thai teacher who I have the pleasure of studying with currently. Her dedication to her craft is evident in her teaching style, which is both engaging and effective.
During our sessions together, Amy demonstrated a deep knowledge of Thai language and culture. She was able to explain even the most complex grammar concepts in a way that was easy to understand and remember.
One of the things I appreciated most about Amy was her patient and encouraging attitude. Learning a new language can be challenging, but Amy was always there to offer support and guidance along the way. She was never judgmental or critical, and always made me feel like I was making progress.

Amy is awesome. Always happy and willing to help anyway to improve your Thai. The lessons plans are well structured which makes it easier to learn. Amy is very laid back and easy going so it makes every lesson fun and I never feel pressured during my lessons. Her patience is priceless. Cheers Amy. Khob khun krub. 😊😊 |

As a teacher Amy becomes a very good friend. At first I was very scared because I thought that the Thai language would be very difficult to learn. Amy has a teaching style that makes it very easy to not only learn but retain the language.
I am now asking Amy to teach my Thai girlfriend to speak English.
Amy teaches not only the language but culture also which is the biggest thing in my mind.
To talk is one thing but to understand the context is another. |

I've been taking weekly Thai language lessons with Amy for almost a year now and i cannot reccomend her highly enough.
Where other language tutors simply stepped me through the usual situational senarios such as "greetings", "ordering at a restaraunt" or "checking into a hotel" etc, Amy taught me the basic structure and how to put together a coherent sentence from scratch. With this and a (growing ) bank of thai words i am able to make myself understood in any situation.
Since then we have been refining my language skills to the point where this year I am now learning how to read and write in Thai.
Amy is a skilled teacher who draws on her own considerable experiences in learning languages to provide a valuable skill to anyone with a desire to learn Thai. Her lessons are always enjoyable and are the highlight of my week. I consider them more of a catchup with a dear friend than a chore.
Learning any language is best considered a continuing hobby rather than a short journey but wether you are preparing for a holiday or you plan to move / work in Thailand for a longer period of time, Amy will have you confidently speaking thai in a surprisingly short time. |

I have been learning Thai with Amy since March 2016. I usually go twice a week. It is difficult learning a new language but Amy has a method that makes it easier to understand and comprehend the structure of the Thai language. Not only do you learn the language but also about the people and their culture. I love Thai food and Amy also does cooking classes. She has also organized a couple of cultural tours to Thailand and Laos. These tours have been simply magnificent. I have done many things that I thought I would never do. Her management of the tours is without fault. Her expertise has made the tours something to remember. Learning Thai with Amy is always fun and educational. I never get bored with any of her lessons and look forward to them every week. Amy is a warm and friendly person and I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn the Thai language, its people and their culture. |

Amy is a good Thai Teacher... What makes her excellent, for me, is her ability to explain the nuance and usage of different Thai words... As in English, there are often different words for what seems like they mean the same thing. But they are not the same, so you need to understand the different nuances and usages. |

I have had lots of lessons with Amy over the last year or so now and she has been
great. She goes out of her way to make sure you are learning and gives you lots of
travel advice as well.
She highly stresses teaching the structure of the Thai language which allows you to
learn much quicker than just trying to learn phrases.
If your thinking about learning Thai you should give Amy a call. Great value for money
as well. |

After traveling to Thailand, I fell in love with the Thai culture and people. I found that
the Thai language was very beautiful, and sometimes cute to listen too, even though
I did not understand it. I wanted in! I wanted to know how to speak and understand
this extraordinary language.
Amy is a fantastic teacher, with a relaxed and fun approach to teaching. Only just
after a couple of lessons, I was able to construct sentences and introduce myself, in
Thai! Amazing! Also gaining a deeper understanding of the Thai culture and way of
life. I never thought learning a different language would be such a fun and engaging
experience. After a few more private lesions, my vocabulary is increasing, and I am
able to engage in basic conversations. Thank you Amy!

This tutor is a brilliant teacher and I have learned so much from her this year (2013). She is the utmost professional in her
preparation, presentation, and fun approach. I can thoroughly recommend this teacher as I doubt you will find a better
teacher of Thai anywhere in Australia. ( I am a registered native Australian teacher in Queensland so I know what I am
