I studied with Bao at the Sydney Community College. He is a very friendly and
approachable tutor who was always keen to provide extra help outside of class on an
individual basis. He was enthusiastic which was infectious in the class, everyone was
keen to learn, and he would tailor the vocabulary and lessons and pace to the needs of
the class. Each class was structured well with things clearly explained, lots of
preparation with extra materials. I feel like I really improved my pronounciation and
written and reading skills. I would highly recommend Bao as a Vietnamese teacher. |

I am currently a Year 12 student at Sydney Technical High School and I am doing Vietnamese Continuers as a HSC subject. For the past couple of months, Bao has significantly improved not only my Vietnamese but also my knowledge of Vietnamese culture, traditions and history. It is his well-rounded approach to the language that makes Bao such a unique tutor from whom you can easily learn. Each lesson, Bao travels to my house with set work whether it be for speaking or writing. Once the lesson finishes, he leaves reading material on specific topics for me as well as other exercises. This tailored form of tutoring has quickly improved my Vietnamese as it is effective and easy to follow. As a year 12 student, this form of tutoring is what I need.
Bao is a patient, knowledgeable and professional tutor who will most definitely aid you in either learning Vietnamese for the first time or improving on what you already know. He is flexible as he teaches according to your needs and I highly recommend him to anyone who has an interest in Vietnamese language or culture. |

I learnt with Bao at the Sydney Community College and improved my reading skills, writing skills in Vietnamese. Bao was very friendly towards the students and explained things in a coherent matter. I'd highly recommend Bao for anyone thinking of taking up Vietnamese for the first time or looking to improve upon their skills.
Bao is also very approachable as he is willing to speak to students on an individual basis but also outside class hours. He provides extra worksheets and makes learning Vietnamese seem fun! |

I had Bao as tutor at Community college. I always left the class enthused and wanting to
learn more and put in practice the grammar and sentence structures I had just learned.
He structured the class well and clearly explained each concept with plenty of prepared
examples. He is very knowledgeable in both the culture and language of Vietnam.
I would highly recommend him. |
