Being tutored by Mr Awad for Biology was an incredibly positive experience, and helped me improve my results significantly over the course of Year 12. His teaching style is clear, structured and well supplemented with an extensive bank of questions that really helped me consolidate my knowledge and apply it effectively to all of my exams. He was able to break down really complex concepts into simple, logical steps, which made the syllabus feel a lot more approachable and manageable. I really appreciated how he always took the time to check in and make sure I fully understood a concept before moving on - this was done through extensive feedback on my practice responses, which we went through together every week. Thanks to his guidance, my marks improved significantly, particularly in extended response and application based questions which I was definitely struggling with towards the start of the year. His consistent support and positive outlook allowed me to build a lot of confidence in my own abilities as the year went on, which contributed significantly to my success in the HSC and allowed me to get into my first choice of degree :) |

Daniel is a reliable and helpful tutor who significantly helped support me in improving my biology marks prior to the HSC. He has excellent resources and materials which helped me practice my knowledge and prepare me for exams. He also has extensive knowledge on the syllabus and was prepared to answer questions. I went from achieving low 60s in year 11 to 88 as my final HSC mark. |

Through out year 11, I had no confidence at all with chem. So I was really desperate for a tutor that would teach me from the basics. I found Daniel just at the start of year 12 and now that I’ve finished my HSC and received my ATAR, I couldn’t be more happier. Daniel is truly the best tutor I’ve ever had for any subject and especially for chem since it wasn’t my strong suit but I needed it for medicine. Every lesson, he was prepared and had a proper structure, starting with syllabus dot point, then a general overview of what will be covered, then in-depth explanation and guiding me through each and every topic, and then finally questions with review. He also gave me specific “band 6” phrases and words that only the high performing students use and what the HSC markers look for in good responses. If I still struggled to grasp certain concepts, I was able to communicate with him thoroughly and together we would work through hundreds of questions repeatedly step by step until I was confident in solving them myself. The weekly homework were really helpful and each lesson we would go through them in detail with explanation of where I went well and what more I could’ve added. For any school assessments, he would guide me with what exactly I had to do to maximise my marks, especially when there was a prac/experiment segment involved. Due to this I went from 7th rank to 3rd in my school. Towards trials and approaching HSC, we did structured 4-week lessons (longer duration) covering an entire summary of each module, spamming past papers and harder trial questions and ensure no “unsure” concepts were left untouched so I was able to walk in to the exams with great confidence. Went from scared of nearly failing in yr 11 to achieving high marks and rank by end of yr 12. Huge thank you to Daniel. |

I couldn’t be more grateful for my Chemistry tutor. Thanks to his personal, engaging teaching style and the mountain of resources he provided, I was able to achieve amazing results in the HSC. He tailored every lesson to suit my learning style and always made complex concepts feel clear and manageable. More than just a tutor, he was a supportive friend, but also firm in his teaching, always pushing me to aim higher and reach my full potential. My only regret is not finding him sooner. He’s now tutoring my younger sister as well and she’s already benefiting from the same personalised and effective support! |

I started with Daniel after the first term of Year 12. I was seeking a tutor who would have resources, questions and the ability to answer questions the textbook did not cover. Daniel provided detailed presentations for each dot point of each module which I found to be very useful and structured. These presentations provided a concise summary of each topic. He served as a great replacement to my school teacher who was not as enthusiastic and turned to videos to teach us. Daniel kept a balance between theory and questions each lesson which were effective in building my answers for exams. I would definitely recommend Daniel as a tutor for biology as he has clear understandings of the year 12 course and is able to effectively communicate the fundamentals in order to learn the course. |

Daniel helped me so much.Probably the best tutor I have had in year 12 hands down. He is very experienced, and knew what he was doing through the whole year.
He broke down the course and made it very easy for me to understand and do well in exams. He doesn't just talk for the whole lesson. He explains the content and quickly gives questions to practice. Daniel is very friendly and will make sure you understand everything before going on.
I went to him for all of year 12 (2017) and achieved 93 in Biology. HE IS A TOP TUTOR AND IF YOU WANT TO GET A BAND 6 HE WILL SHOW YOU HOW NO DOUBT!!!! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |

I came to Daniel after trials, just before the HSC. He gave very concise notes and also good revision questions to prepare you for what's in the exam. He was very motivational and made the lessons entertaining, but didn't waste any time. I would definitely recommend Daniel for anyone doing chemistry, whether confident or struggling. I WISH I FOUND HIM EARLIER!!!! |

Daniel is a nice guy, friendly and open to suggestions. After being tutored for a whole year I can say that his notes are the most thorough out if any I have seen, and he helped keep my motivation levels high despite the presence of a pitiful school teacher. I found myself looking forward to each lesson every week and I would recommend him to any year 11's going into year 12. |

I went to Daniel for both Chemistry and Biology. Daniel has been a very consistent and and hardworking mentor. He explains the syllabus very easily and clearly outlines how to achieve high marks in exams. He showed me where I was losing marks every time we practiced questions. He is very confident and will make sure that you "get it". His classes were fun, he is very funny and friendly. I looked forward to attending every week. I ended up getting 91 Chemistry and 90 Biology. I am very happy that I got his help!!!!!!!! I COULDN'T OF DONE IT OTHERWISE |
