I had Sir as my math tutor for 2 years in preparation for my HSC and I must say I am so grateful that I found him as he was able to transform my hsc for the better. Having started my journey in year 11 with advanced math and ext 1 maths, sir emphasised the importance of a consistent study routine and completing weekly homework, the result of which would be evident at the completion of my HSC, and is today. Then upon building this consistency in year 11, my grades had increased, placing in the top 3 for all exams. In year 12, sir backed me to do extension 2 and made sure that he went above and beyond to answer weekly questions and always made time for me, especially when I was struggling in the beginning. However, thanks to Sir's dedication and extensive knowledge accompanied by his patience, I was able to find my feet in extension 2, achieving 75% in my first exam and 100% in my second. Ultimately, having completed my HSC exams, I was able to leave my maths extension 1 and 2 exams with confidence and mastery thanks to the thorough and consistent preparation with sir across these 2 years where I had answered all types of questions and cleared all my doubts in the process. Thus I highly recommend Sir as he is more than a maths tutor but a mentor who genuinely seeks the best for you as a student and works hard to ensure you see improvement in your academic studies. |

He has been an amazing tutor for Physics. He helped to consolidate my knowledge, going beyond both syllabus content, and answered all my questions exceptionally. I had been able to improve my marks in Physics greatly under his teachings. He also has many notes, that are thorough and very helpful. Mr Vel Sunda is a great, passionate and fantastic teacher. As I sit HSC in 2021, I was mentally faced a lot of challenges due to Covid 19 lockdown. Mr Vel Sunda has been an awesome mentor, who guided me to satisfy in my Physics, Extension 1 and Extension 2 Maths HSC exams. I was really enjoyed his way of teaching in both face to face learning and online learning via skype. He was always available for me to clarify my doubts at any time. His teaching notes and exercises are extraordinary, which shaped me to face any kind of questions. I strongly recommend Mr Vel Sunda to the students, who are going to choose Physics, Extension 1 Maths and Extension 2 Maths. |

Mr Vel Sunda is a great and compassionate teacher. His work ethic and teaching methods have definitely improved my overall understanding for both Maths Extension 1 and Physics content. As we all know, the HSC journey is a tough one, however with the help of Mr Sunda, I was able to push through with his guidance and support. He is very flexible adjusting his time time to suit your needs. Moreover if you have any questions regarding your work, he will always be there to help you. In addition, during COVID 19, we were able to start classes via Skype, thus not impacting my learning experience. Hence, Mr Sunda's patience and dedication towards his students is second to none and thus I would recommend him to any student undertaking the Maths Extension 1 and Physics courses. |

I was tutored by Sunda for year 11 and 12 specialist maths as well as year 11 and 12 physics. Sunda is a very experienced tutor and it shows through his unique teaching style. He is a friendly and caring tutor who truly wants his students to do well. He is very patient and not only understands the specific needs of each individual student but tailors the lessons to each student accordingly. He always made me feel confident after each lesson and if I were to not understand something, he would make sure that the concept was clear before moving on. Sunda tutored me for Year 11 Physics and Year 11 & 12 Specialist Maths. He was a very knowledgeable and intelligent tutor, who was always confident in what he taught. I have attended Mr. Sunda’s tutoring from Year 10 – Year 12. I received help for Specialist Maths, Double Specialist Maths and Physics. He is kind and a very knowledgeable teacher. Mr Vel Sundar is a respected tutor who taught me physics during year 11 and 12. He has comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the subject and that was apparent in his teaching methods. Not only did he actively search for and provide resources to aid in my study, but also directed his teaching as specified by weekly topic specified by my school. Thus, not only did he teach me the topics stated on the subject timetable, but after understanding my learning style and approach, he provided me with extra resources to aid in my learning. Furthermore, he often provided me with questions and homework which were relavent to each subject. I did not find this work overwhelming, rather an effective tool in ensuring that I fully understood the particular topic thoroughly. He also didn't simply tell me the answers to questions but helped me find solutions myself, giving me both guidance and self-confidence. I definitely recommend him to any student looking into studying physics! I learnt a lot from him and found him incredibly valuable! |
