One area of improvement could be cutting back on time given to answer questions in the workbook and more on the content being taught and the review behind those questions. |

I enjoyed the structure of the classes and the timing of SACs and Trial Exams before my school SACs and exams which made me feel more prepared and confident. I also enjoyed the variety of questions looked at in terms of practical and theory which expand thinking beyond the textbook and instead also look at the real-world application of accounting. An idea for improvement is to potentially make a cohort group chat where students can connect and prepare for AT Sacs and exams, to understand other students' perspectives or approaches to certain questions. |

Using resources efficiently, he uses his cool TV to provide a clear understanding on questions the cohort would have struggled with. He also provides online classes for those who aren't able to physically attend. And tracks student's wellbeing. His mock tests are also a smart way to improve one's skill. While AT targets student improvement within his class, all students have their own strengths & weaknesses. After a test, it would be good to suggest what area of the Unit they should target to improve. That way, it'll persuade the student to look into that area. |

my tutor was very helpful in the teaching of the subject followed with the VCAA curriculum that we were doing in school but at times our school and what we were learning in the tutoring were not matching and was difficult to follow as i was trying to learn 2 topics as once for the same subject but it helped me because when i did the topic in school i knew what i needed to do. the overall usefulness of this tutoring was very good and gave a lot of material to do for practice. adn was available for most of the day and responds fast to any questions |

AT academy has been really useful since the start and I highly recommend it for anyone who struggles with accounting. the only criticism I have is that I feel like the pacing is slow at times and we do not end up doing all the questions we were supposed to in the class making us have a lot of homework, I think that the process could be quicker for it to be perfect |

I think AT Academy has helped a lot, Aravind gave me that extra push in Accounting and gave us more practice outside of school. Aravind is also very dedicated, patient and hardworking for us to get good marks. He explains concepts in a concise manner, that is easy to understand. He offered extra lessons during the week and replies to messages really quickly! I think all these have helped me understand accounting better.
An improvement can be to print out sheets/notes because I think it may be more effective if you can see it right in front of you, and you can easily make notes next to it. |

Aravind Tutoring has truly pushed me to achieve well in Accounting. He came in every week with an organised and effective lesson plan, and he is always available to answer student's questions in person or through text. Additionally, he provides great resources to hone skills such as hundreds of past papers and sacs, as well as handcrafted resources from the academy itself.
However, the only issue some might face would be the price which is $65 per class which is well above the industry average. However if you want to elevate your performance, and if you are willing to put in the work, it may be worth it. |

Aravind Thiagarajah is a very knowledgable and brilliant mastermind in the game called VCE Accounting i would consider him a level 100 boss.
He is very good at teaching accounting and has a lot of resources and plans out basically everything for accounting making it really manageable to do the vce subject. He wont be able to respond instantly cos he has a full time job, but when he does he can provide a lot of useful feeback. I started off hating the subject but like aravind made me like it a lot, so hes really good in teaching accounting and making it enjoyable. He does a really indepth tution service, he has trial sacs and exams that he writes himself, which he conducts in class to measure performance, has parent teacher interviews every semester, and wrote up a full examiner report for his in class trial exam |

I have been a student with Aravind throughout doing VCE 3&4 Accounting. My time with him has been tremendous, he’s always able to answer questions that I have clearly and concisely (visually or auditorily). I must admit that I sometimes feel afraid to ask questions about the basics of the subject, but he has always responded respectfully and quickly helped me out. Aravind is a tutor who is highly engaged, he will hardly look at his phone in class or become distracted when students do their assigned tasks but rather walks around the room to ensure that we are all doing the tasks correctly. I have always felt safe inside his classroom as Aravind is friendly and approachable and has always been understanding even if we don’t submit our homework due to prior commitments or an overload of schoolwork. After having him for my VCE Accounting course, I believe that he has been one of the best tutors out of the 11 tutors that I had throughout my primary and secondary school life. Aravind is no regular tutor. During my two years as his Accounting student I viewed him, and still view him as a mentor and inspiration of who I want to be in the future. Attending lessons each week was more of a gift than an obligation, as I would await eagerly for the next lesson after each class. We were able to talk hours on end, whether it was accounting related or just life in general, which I found difficult with other tutors I have attended in the past. His organisation whether it was online (due to lockdown restrictions) or in person was flawless, and he always made sure that us as students were in impeccable form for SAC assessments, especially the final exam. His knowledge of the subject goes far beyond the VCAA study design. Aravind is a genuinely humble and down-to-earth bloke, and even after completing the subject I am still able to contact him whenever and have a chat freely. I believe there is no better tutor/mentor for the subject of Accounting.
