I had a really positive experience with my chemistry tutor. He explains complex concepts in a clear and simple way, which made topics I used to struggle with much easier to understand. He was also very patient and takes the time to make sure I fully grasp each idea before moving on.
Overall, he has made a big difference in my understanding of chemistry, and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for extra help. |

He is a great at explaining everything because he is very knowledgable on the subject, and overall a brilliant teacher. Mr Lennon always has a great attitude and makes tutoring lessons interesting and helps me to stay interested. Mr Lennon is a patient teacher, his approachable attitude makes each lessons very enjoyable and create a safe space for students to openly ask, as well as express their struggles. His way of explaining the topics are very on point and concise, he specifically point out which areas you should divert your focus towards, which makes learning a more direct and easy-to-follow path. He is organised and plans well for each lessons which provides structure and makes each lessons more effective. It's been a great experience learning with him and I highly recommend Mr Lennon to students struggling with the subject. |

When I was in Yr 11, I always scored around 50s to 60s and had a C grade in Chemistry, however in Yr 12, having met and being tutored under Mr Lennon, my Chemistry scores have been boosted to around the high 70s to mid 80s. Mr Lennon is very knowledgeable and helps me understand hard concepts by breaking down the Chemistry syllabus. I highly recommend having Mr Lennon as a tutor for anyone who is currently struggling in Chemistry as it was absolutely worth my money! |

During year 11 and the start of year 12, I have scored between high 70's to low 80's for normal tests and practical assessments and around the mid 70's for school exams before scaling. My predicted atar has shown that my chemistry is ranging at an average of 80 to 82 (during year 11 and the start of year 12). During the middle of year 12, I had chosen to find a tutor for my chemistry to further improve my knowledge to further enhance my score and I am very glad that I did. At the end of year 12, I had received an 84 average for my school mark and scored 88.19 for my WACE exam, with a combined score of 86.90. Although the improvements may be slight, each point counts towards your final ATAR score. Furthermore, this is only the improvements made when i worked with him for only a few months before my final WACE exam.
Mr Lennon has provided me detailed information on the topics which i wanted to improve on and he would write down key information for me to remember for during my tests and exams. He also provides detailed notes and sheets of practice questions for me to bring home to revise and if I wanted more, i just email him and he would send more to me. He goes through my work each week and would go through step by step on how to tackle the questions which i got wrong. He also has many different exam papers from past years (mock exam papers from his school and wace exam papers).
Overall, I would highly recommend this teacher for those who are struggling with chemistry even if you are good at it and want to improve, even if just by a little. In my opinion, the costs for his tutoring session is quite reasonable ($50 per hour) seeing as how i managed to get a great return for my money. If you are currently in year 11, I would highly suggest that you start with this chemistry teacher because i happened to start tutoring with him at a later stage of my high school career and I think that the improvements may have been significant if I had started earlier. |

Mr Lennon has been a really beneficial asset to my year 12 chemistry journey. I started the year with lower scores than I would hope but he was quick to break down the course and help me understand what was needed to get the marks I wanted, as well as enriching my understanding of the course. He’s always well prepared and as a teacher himself, I can really see his breadth of knowledge and he explains things really well. If I ever was still confused he’d take time to ensure I understood, which lead to my marks improving to what I wanted. Overall he’s been a wonderful tutor :) |
