After being with Rachael for a year, I have found that I have gained a lot more knowledge and understanding about English as a subject in itself, she helped me with not only my essay writing skills but also my analysing skills. If you're looking for an English tutor, I'd definitely recommend Rachael! |

Rachael was amazing — super knowledgeable and always came prepared to lessons with great resources that made every topic clearer. If she didn't have the resource I needed, she'd create material for me. She gave detailed and thoughtful feedback that highlighted both my strengths and weaknesses, and always suggested specific ways to improve. I really appreciated how supportive she was while still having high expectations that pushed me to do my best. Over the two years of my VCE that I worked with her, my confidence grew a lot and my grades improved heaps. I feel well prepared for my final exam. She is friendly, encouraging and genuinely cared about helping me succeed. I'd definitely recommend working with Rachael. |

Rachael has helped me immensely this year. I only started receiving lessons from her this year but I have seen a lot of improvement in my writing skills and understanding of my texts. During the early stages of the year, she provided me with insightful ideas about the texts and answered any questions I had about certain quotes or language techniques. Nearing SACs she would pick apart my essays and explain the issues and areas I needed to work on. She is flexible and has helped me reschedule lessons that I could not attend due to school activities. She is also very nice and gives constructive feedback without making you lose confidence. I would definitely recommend her as a tutor! |

Working with Rachael was really helpful, we did a lot of work throughout My year 12 year. I remembered I used to struggle with English, but Rachael helped me build up my confidence and also improve my essay writing skills. When we started working together I was on a 70% average and by the end of year 12, I am on a 90% average! Really a champion (both of us!) |

Rachael's work with our son has really helped him to improve his results. Her knowledge of the English curriculum, texts and the VCE is extensive. She is patient, knowledgeable, a clear communicator and provides very specific feedback that has helped our son improve his grades over the year they have been working together. She is also very generous in the creation and sharing of resources that have helped him to complete tasks between sessions.
His confidence has sky-rocketed under her guidance and his results are certainly improving. I think working with Rachael has been the best decision we have made during our son's VCE. |

Rachael is an amazing English teacher. I have been working with her for over 2 years and she helped me improve my results in English -
I've gone from a C average in Year 10 to a A/A+ results in Year 12. She is encouraging and provides practical advice and strategies that helped me to improve specific areas of weakness in my work. She really knows the texts and what it takes to write good essays. She also has more than one way to explain concepts and can adjust her explanations to suit the way you learn.
I would highly recommend working with Rachael if you want to improve your English results, you won't be sorry! |

Rachael is an excellent tutor. I have been working with her throughout my VCE and she has helped me improve my marks, across all areas of study, during the last two years. I am now getting straight As! Her content knowledge is excellent and she really knows how to explain concepts in a way that makes them easily understood. She has a friendly and relaxed approach yet expects you to put in the hard work to achieve good results. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her. |
