Thanh is absolutely amazing! In just 1 hour per week throughout Year 12, he pre-taught me what I would learn at school in a full week of lessons. He uses analogies and real-world examples to make tricky concepts easy to grasp. Thanh created question banks for each module, as well as manageable week-to-week assignments, making studying simple, and ensuring I was prepared for school assessments well in advance. By the trials and HSC, I felt super confident about every aspect of the syllabus, and no question felt unseen as Thanh had ensured I had practised everything! He guided me in achieving results I am so proud of, ranking 2nd at my school in Year 11 and 1st in Year 12, and losing little to no marks in every assessment. Thanh is also super flexible, and was always able to offer a Zoom lesson when I couldn’t make it to our weekly in-person session and during holidays. |

Thanh helped me throughout Y11 and 12 and was able to teach me the entire curriculum despite me having a poor school teacher. His lessons were structured and helped me feel confident that I wasn’t missing any syllabus points, and the extensive resources he provided really helped me target the specific areas of the syllabus I was struggling with. He was really good at helping me understand complicated ideas and pointing out the areas where I needed more work. |

Thanh is an exceptional tutor/educator. He has tutored both our daughters through Year 11 and 12 Chemistry. Both have received exceptional results. His knowledge is expansive, he is able to explain concepts using understandable analogies and made learning chemistry enjoyable and satisfying. My daughter felt that he was able to teach more in an hour than she could learn in a week at school.Thanh is reliable, kind and supportive and always prepared. He knows the syllabus inside out. We can’t recommend him highly enough. |

Thanh was very patient with me when I was first starting with chem. Initially, I struggled with the subject, but as time went by my improvement was substantial. I ended up with a 97/100 HSC Mark and I'm very greatful to Thanh for all the support as it would not have been possible without him. |

Thanh is an exceptional Chemistry tutor, especially for Year 12 students gearing up for the HSC. My search for a tutor began in Nov 2022 and especially after my son's initial school results left me anxious about his Chemistry result. Despite trying out multiple tutors, it wasn't until we found Thanh in April 2023 that things took a turn for the better.
Initially placed towards the bottom of his cohort, my son's progressively improved term by term under Thanh's guidance. What truly sets Thanh apart is his unwavering dedication and unique approach. Unlike other tutors, Thanh doesn't just focus on content delivery. Instead, he emphasise mastering the art of answering HSC questions effectively.
It's not solely about knowing the Chemistry; it's about strategically applying that knowledge to tackle the intricate HSC questions, especially the lengthy ones that tend to be stumbling blocks for many students. Thanh's teaching method revolves around equipping students with the skills to navigate and excel in these scenarios.
Thanks to Thanh's tutelage, my son not only improved significantly in Chemistry but also secured a place in the Bachelor of Engineering majoring in Chemical Engineering with UNSW. Thanh's guidance and expertise were instrumental in this achievement, and I firmly believe my son wouldn't have reached this milestone without Thanh’s invaluable help. |

Thanh has helped me so much throughout year 12 in chemistry. I didn’t pay much attention to chemistry in year 11 as I thought I was going to drop the subject but when I decided to keep it, Thanh helped me get right back on track. He would always help me in whatever areas I felt I needed further assistance in by helping my note taking and working through practice questions. I ended up getting a band 6 in HSC chemistry which I was very happy with, and I am confident I would not have achieved this without Thanh. |

I began chemistry tutoring with Thanh at the end of Year 11 after I got 65% in my prelims. He helped me significantly, as I scored a 93 in my HSC exam which I wouldn't of been able to do without his lessons. Thanh is extremely knowledgeable and is able to explain both the theory and calculations of chemistry very patiently and well. His extensive resources helped me practise with a range of question styles, as well as being able to get them marked fast as he always responds to his emails very quickly. Most of all, he is very kind and patient, and his passion for the subject is motivating. Not only did my marks improve substantially with his lessons, my enjoyment and confidence in chemistry grew immensely, I could not recommend him enough. |

Thanh tutored my daughter throughout Year 11 and 12, right up until HSC. I highly recommend Thanh as he is very reliable, always punctual and constantly communicates with both parent and student, has extensive knowledge in the syllabus, his explanations are very clear and makes each lesson very interesting, engaging and ensured my daughter understood each module before moving on. He comes well prepared for each lesson and gives reasonable homework/ practice papers each week to ensure my daughter is 110% confident on the topic thought. For a child who was struggling in Chemistry from the start, Thanh’s conscientious attitude each lesson not only motivated my daughter to study and do her best in Chemistry but my daughter love Chemistry and came second in her cohort. Thanh is very encouraging and genuinely wants to ensure my daughter achieves the best results in Chemistry. I can confidently recommend Thanh to anyone looking do well in Chemistry. |

Thanh was better than any chemistry teacher I could ask for. He consistently knew how to break down challenging concepts and make them more relatable to be understood completely. His flexibility with meeting online or at the library as well as rescheduling lessons was outstanding and he always kept in touch in crucial exam periods for needed quick questions. |

Thanh is a highly specialised Tutor in Chemistry. He thoroughly understands the HSC Chemistry course snd I highly recommend him to students undertaking this subject.
My son has been tutoring with Thanh in this fascinating subject for Year 12. After his sessions with Thanh I saw positive outcomes that can only be described as relief and lots of a-ha moments. The pieces were coming together and Chemistry was a mountain that can now be climbed.
Thanh works closely with each students needs and builds a strong foundation of the subject matter and a good rapport with his fellow students.
He is always available to speak with the parent(s) as needed when they are seeking feedback on their child's progress.
His biggest attribute is his patience with each student.
I would not hesitate to recommend Thanh as a Chemistry Tutor to anyone seeking to further understand this intriguing and interesting course. |

Due to COVID, my daughter lost a lot of confidence and knowledge in Chemistry. Over a few months (and through lots of hard work), Thanh guided her through the curriculum, set her work, and explained things with patience and care. His diligence, kindness, and knowledge rebuilt her skills, knowledge and ability - we can't thank Thanh enough for his work. Highly recommended. |

Best chemistry tutor ever! :) Thanh helps you to establish very good studying patterns and is very kind, caring, understanding and knowledgeable. He explains things in a manner that makes concepts much easier to understand and provides constructive feedback every lesson. In helping you to establish these good studying patterns, he also reduces the overall stress that comes with being an HSC/IB student as you are pretty much prepared for your exam before even receiving your notification. |

Thanh tutored me throughout Year 11 and 12 and was essential in my Chemistry studies. Each lesson he went step by step through content, made sure I understood everything before moving on, and always came prepared to lessons. He communicated well, referring from his own knowledge but making sure to cite from various textbooks to show diagrams and add any information as well. He was always punctual to lessons, whether it was coming to my home for solo lessons, a planned location for group lessons, or organising a zoom call for online lessons. He always made sure everyone was on the same page and was flexible with his timings each week. Thanh helped me improve immensely in Chemistry, and this is due especially to his conscientious attitude each week which motivated me to study and prepare well for chemistry. He always made sure to set reasonable homework each week that would be very helpful and encouraged a hardworking ethic during his classes. On top of all of this, Thanh makes the lessons enjoyable and engaging, and I would highly recommend Thanh as a tutor to anyone looking for help in their studies. |

Thanh was an excellent tutor, who helped set the foundations for my knowledge in the subject. Through the use of various practice papers, textbook extracts and various questions originating from previous HSCs, he could address any lacking areas I possessed in chemistry and improve my ability to adapt to various kinds of questions. His teaching method of easy to understand breakdowns of various topics aided my overall understanding of chemistry as a whole. Thanh’s tutoring helped me achieve success in the HSC for chemistry. I thoroughly recommend his chemistry tutoring services. |

Dr. Thanh is a very helpful, responsible and dedicated tutor. It’s very fortunate to have him tutoring my HSC Chemistry. He was able to break down the difficult concepts into easy dot points and explain questions that I was struggling with in a clear way. On top of that, he made me practise many past paper questions based on different modules to consolidate my knowledge. He is also reachable to answer my questions out of the lesson and even the morning of the exam. With his encouragement, extensive resources, systematic and strategic teaching method, I feel confident to succeed in my HSC journey in Chemistry. |

Thanh was a great Chemistry tutor, helping me build confidence in the subject. He identified my weaknesses and within time, helped me to overcome them by way of numerous resources, continued practice and clear explanations. His resources included many practice exams, informative worksheets, textbooks and practice questions from both past HSCs and more relevant areas as well. Thanh was able to explain concepts to me in a clear and concise manner. While continuing to work with Thanh, I saw definite improvement in both my grades and my attitude towards Chemistry. Because of the confidence I have gained, I have decided to continue my study of it into university. I very much recommend Thanh for Chemistry tutoring. |

Thanh was a brilliant tutor. His enthusiasm kept me engaged in the subject and he kept me on top of my work by keeping in touch throughout the week, checking up on how I had been progressing with the homework, past papers and questions he would set based on my weaknesses. Thanh makes difficult concepts easy to understand through providing examples and explanations rather than teaching you to rote learn. Thanks to Thanh I consistently received top ranks in my exams and reached my goal. |
