Specialising in Senior Secondary (Years 8-12) Tutoring

Our VCE Tutoring program is one of Victoria's most comprehensive and long standing VCE specialist tutoring programs, designed to nurture students both academically and emotionally through their VCE studies. We have been supporting students for over 17 years and pride ourselves and the quality of service and reliability we provide to our students.

As director of the program, I have 25 years teaching experience at schools including Caulfield Grammar and experience as a VCAA examiner.

We have a history of achieving excellent results promptly with students. Previous students have demonstrated dramatic changes in their level of confidence and academic results, with the majority of students improving at least 2 grades above their average prior to working with us (e.g. from C - A or B - A+ )

Our VCE Program:
Our program has been developed to allow students to thrive in their VCE utilising the dominant side of their brain and preferred learning style. This is the reason our students achieve such high levels of success in their VCE, regardless of the level they join us at. For years, parents have informed us that "they wish they had found us earlier". Parents also share with us that our program developed to teach essay writing and mindset support strategies are then used by their child throughout their university studies. Hearing the difference we are able to make to our students' future is the most rewarding aspect of our job.

VCE Mindset Program:
Our VCE mindset program to support students develop their tools for managing stress through the challenging time of year 11 & 12. The program has been developed through my 30 years experience in education and a Bachelor of Education major in Psychology, which has lead me to be particularly passionate about nurturing students through the pressures they face in their VCE studies. Through this training I have conducted in Psychology, 'Tuning In To Kids (Emotion Coaching)' and 'Differential Learning Styles', I provide our students with the support to re-build their confidence in their performance for all subjects and VCE specific stress management strategies, in order to assist with the nerves, work load, SAC and exam timing pressures students might face in the lead up to SACs, exams and day to day pressures of VCE.

VCE English and Literature Program:
We help clear up the confusion students may be facing in relation to the expectations of their essay writing in V.C.E English or Literature, including specifics on how to structure essays and the features students need to include in their essay to score their best results.

VCE Psychology Program
Our all-encompassing VCE Psychology program covers content and how to structure responses to achieve optimal results. Our team are experts at explaining content and providing our students with personalised study resources, note taking templates and practice questions. In addition to weekly one-one sessions, we provide an online VCE Psychology study program (Click here) designed to assist students with their personal studies outside of sessions, including video lessons, practice questions, answer explanations and practice SACs, allowing students to thoroughly prepare for their SACs and exams.

Health & Human Development
Our program aims to help students build confidence, is personalised to each student’s individual needs, and assists in developing a thorough understanding of health and development across the lifespan, the determinants of health, health promotion strategies, and global health issues, while cultivating the analytical and evaluative skills required to excel in VCE Human Health and Development.

VCE History Revolutions Program:
Our extensive VCE History Revolutions Program guides mastery of key historical content while equipping students with efficacious strategies to structure responses for optimal results. The endeavours of the French and Russian Revolutions are hefty, challenging, and extremely content-heavy topics amongst the VCE subjects. With our support, we aim to help students balance and thoroughly understand the extensive content of History Revolutions, providing interactive sessions that enhance their ability to memorise and retain key material. The program is tailored to each student’s needs, offering guidance on how to craft high-level, structured responses that are vital within this subject. Through this program, students develop a deep understanding of the Russian and French Revolution, their causes and consequences, while building analytical and evaluative skills required in both their SACs and exam. By connecting historical events to broader social, political, and economic contexts, students gain both knowledge and confidence to achieve top results.

VCE Dance Program:
Our VCE Dance tutoring program includes in person or online one-one sessions to support students with choreographing and refining their solo performances, whilst ensuring their solo most effectively addresses the key assessment criteria. We support our students with choreographing strategies that are most effective in aiding students to develop their choreography during their one-one session or workshops with us. We also provide dance theory sessions, to support students with achieving the best results for the theory component of the VCE Dance. Students are taught by an experienced VCE Dance teacher and choreographer with VCAA Assessor experience.

Other Subjects:
Our comprehensive VCE program is optimal in facilitating students with a strong understanding of the subject syllabus. Our team excels in breaking down complex and copious concepts while providing students with efficacious, personalised study resources and individualised practice questions. Additionally, we meticulously guide students on structuring answers effectively and applying mark-boosting techniques, making the overall rigorous and content-heavy nature of this subject much easier to manage while developing all the skills needed for high-level success.

Our teaching process involves a highly developed and individually tailored program, ensuring student and parent satisfaction with the learning process and results achieved. Our knowledge of VCE texts and curriculum empowers students to excel with confidence. Our team develops lesson plans specifically for the individual student and are tailored to the area the student requires teaching focus, in order to achieve the very best results for their V.C.E SACs and Exams.
