Methods/Specialist:
In 2023 I accelerated Maths Methods as a Yr 11. As someone completely new to VCE without a clear direction on how to score as best as I could, I spent countless hours crafting a process to master Maths Methods. As a tutor, my vision is to provide a supportive and engaging learning environment, turning those daunting Math questions into routine. I also wish to share my expert experience and techniques that helped me to score both a Raw 50 and a Premier's VCE Award so that you too can achieve your very best. I fully believe that with enough determination, grit and my personalised support Methods is a subject that anyone can succeed in.

What do I offer?

- Teaching focused on understanding
? Succeeding in VCE Methods requires you to fully grasp the concepts and the reasoning behind WHY and HOW certain solutions are the way that they are. This is why my teaching is based on understanding and not memorisation, so that you have the toolkit and thought process to allow you to tackle any VCE maths question.
- Special tips and tricks to optimise your marks
? The reality is that VCE - to an extent - is a game about marks. In order for you to perform at your very best you need to make sure you can get all the marks that you 100% CAN get and my lessons will have a strong focus on mitigating those pesky silly mistakes.
- 120-minute lessons with a balanced focus on strengthening all aspects of VCE methods - time pressure, problem-solving, etc.
- A plethora of resources that provide you with ample exam-style question experience + 'separator' question coverage + awareness of common traps/mistakes
- 24/7 support outside of class
- Free advice for other subjects

English:
You might already know that English is a compulsory Top 4 subject and often one that can make or break your ATAR. As someone who is more STEM-oriented, this was certainly a major concern for me going into Year 12. However, over the course of the year I was able to overcome this challenge and manage to excel in what I would consider my most challenging VCE subject. If you are also someone who struggles with writing essays, learning texts or analysing articles, my goal is to make scoring highly in English as formulaic as possible, thereby giving you the confidence to perform at your very best. In fact, as I grew accustomed to the subject, English transformed from what I would consider a burden to a subject I (slightly) enjoyed and I genuinely want my students to learn to appreciate the beauty that lies in reading and writing.

What do I offer?
- Bank of comprehensive notes and sample essays
- Essay feedback and/or marking
- Personalised lesson plans
- Techniques aimed at impressing VCAA examiners
- 24/7 support outside of class
- Free advice for other subjects
