I think you were a great tutor, especially for your first year tutoring. You really made sure that everyone one of us understands key concepts and questions before moving onto the next question, and you thoroughly explained and showed your working/thought process when answering certain questions. Those are the exact things I look for in a tutor, and on top of that you were always ready to answer any of our questions, which made it so much more accessible and easy to progress further and further with maths. |

Leonard’s tutoring was genuinely my anchor during year 12 methods, no joke. I wasn’t very good at methods at the beginning of the year and was scoring very poorly in unit 1/2, but having Leonard as my tutor definitely helped my improve my skills and understanding of difficult concepts. My grade improved tremendously! The way he teaches is very clear and understandable, and he is very open to answering any questions. 10/10 tutor overall, book him guys! |

I was nervous to begin tutoring, but Leonard immediately created a safe, non-judgemental environment where I felt comfortable asking questions (even the ones I thought were obvious). His explanations were clear and easy to follow, but if something didn’t click, he was also able to adjust his approach until the concepts made sense. Leonard provided supplementary resources and a wide range of practice materials for SACs, all of which were valuable. However, his insight into common errors, maths traps that often trick people, unique problem-solving techniques and guidance with the CAS calculator was especially useful. I am incredibly grateful to have had such an attentive, supportive and knowledgeable tutor. |

Working with Leonard this year has was the difference from failing in year 11 to now feeling confident to taking on challenging questions out side of my comfort zone. My grades also drastically improved instantly when starting tutoring with Leonard, scoring high marks in a competitive cohort.
