I am an experienced, professional and fully qualified high school English teacher and have been tutoring students privately for over 30 years.

I am currently located in Port Stephens after teaching in a Sydney selective school since 2004. I teach from Years 7 - 12, specialising in HSC Standard, Advanced and Extension English.

My fee includes lesson and text preparation as well as marking my student's work prior to the lesson. I include extensive comments and feedback goals.

For Sydney based students I am still available for lessons via Zoom.

I am available weekday afternoons.

I only teach from my home in Salamander Bay or online.

Whilst in Port Stephens I have tutored students from Mereweather High, St. Philip's Christian College, Newcastle Grammar and Abbotsleigh School in Sydney.

Over recent years I have tutored students from the following Sydney schools:-
Brigidine St Ives, Cromer, Davidson, Freshwater, Manly Selective, Mosman, Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, Northern Beaches Christian College, Killarney, Killara, Knox, North Sydney Boys, Oxford Falls Grammar, Pittwater House, Pymble Ladies College, Shore, St. Augustine's College, St. Luke's College, Sydney Grammar and Wenona.

I am familiar with all aspects of the new NSW English Curriculum and all HSC English modules and papers. I am an English specialist and teach only English.

I have extensive experience as a High School English teacher in Australia the UK, South Africa and Kuwait

I have been teaching in a range of high schools for 28 years. I am an enthusiastic and
energetic teacher who has always achieved excellent results across the board.

My thorough knowledge of the NSW curriculum and my rapport with students has
always allowed for quick improvement and attainment of high marks.

Rates

I charge a flat rate of $125/hour.

I have relocated to Port Stephens but am still available for Sydney and regional students via Zoom.
