Highly qualified and engaging VCE ENGLISH TEACHER with a passion for (and expertise in) the Year 10-12 subjects.

I will provide a highly structured 60 minute tutoring session, which can either be teacher directed (for those who want to improve but are not sure where to begin) or student directed (for those who know exactly what areas they need assistance with)

$100 per hour online
$150 for two students learning the same content ($75 each)

12 years of VCE teaching experience and Head of Senior Girls for 5+ years, currently on parental leaves

- excellent skills in motivating and engaging with young people - 4 years of Unit 3+4 teaching experience, with an average of 60-80% of students achieving a 40+ study score - 4 of my students have achieved the perfect study score of 50 and 1 of those students won the Premier’s Award - I understand the rigour, sophistication and style of writing which leads to exceptional VCE English results
- I am passionate about engaging all young people in the beauty of language and writing, regardless of skill level
- I believe that the Analysing Argument component of the 3+4 English provides an opportunity for students to excel across all three sections of the exam - 60 minute in-person or online sessions
- I will provide practice tasks, sample work, vocabulary sheets, sentence structuring techniques and am happy to host practice exams in the lead up to VCE examinations - happy to discuss texts for Sec A and Sec B of the examination

Highly experienced and engaging VCE English teacher at leading independent school in Victoria. I am currently on maternity leave and seeking some casual work.

I have a passion for VCE ENGLISH and my students have performed exceptionally well over 4 years of Unit 3+4 classes. 4 of my students have received the perfect study score of 50 in Unit 3+4 English and I understand the rigour and quality of writing needed to achieve success. Between 60-80% of my students scored about 40 each year.

Rates

60 minute session
$100 for one-on-one tutoring
$75 for for a pair (per student)

Unit 3+4 Exam Trial
- $100 for a fully supervised and timed 3 hour practice exam. Price includes examination feedback for all three sections using the official VCE examination rubric.
- these sessions will begin in September and will run on Saturdays.
