Hello, my name is Jayden Choi and I am a high-performing graduate from Balwyn High School with an ATAR of 99.90, ranking among the top students in Victoria. I achieved outstanding VCE results, including a Raw 50 in VCE General Mathematics, Raw 49 in VCE English Language, and Raw 45 in VCE Economics. I was awarded Dux of VCE General Mathematics (2025) and Dux of VCE English Language (2024) at Balwyn High School, and received the 2024 Subject Award for Economics, ranking #1 in SACs. I also received the highest UCAT score from my school cohort and received the most interview invitations across medical and dental schools (including Monash, UNSW, The University of Sydney, Adelaide and more). As a result, I was fortunate enough to receive the University of Melbourne Chancellor’s Scholarship, a prestigious offer awarded to students with an ATAR of 99.90+, providing me with Guaranteed Entry into the Doctor of Medicine at The University of Melbourne. I have also received offers into the UNSW (University of New South Wales) medicine as well as from University of Adelaide and more.

As a recent Balwyn High School graduate, I tailor my teaching specifically to help BHS students excel. I draw from my own study strategies and teacher-marked SAC feedback from Balwyn High School to adapt to their assessments. I understand first-hand how challenging it is to gain medical and dental entry from a public school and such I know the exact academic and admission pathways to receive multiple medical/dental interview offers. I offer guidance that is specific to the BHS teaching system and reserve limited places for high-aiming Balwyn High students who are serious about VCE.

I currently offer group tutoring for VCE English Language, running multiple classes adjusted to different ability levels. I offer a limited number of tutoring places for students, prioritising Balwyn High School students but I am always glad to help students from other areas.

While my tutoring is driven by academic excellence and a strong teaching approach, I have also been involved in several educational and leadership roles:
- Invited to advise mathematics teachers at Balwyn High School (2026 planning) regarding optimal structures and approaches for VCE General Mathematics teaching, based on student learning patterns and assessment performance insights.
- Mentored and supported year 7 Balwyn High School students in academic transition, study habits, organisation and mindset through the STEP leadership program.
- Developed and shared study methods, note-taking frameworks, exam-revision strategies and performance-mindset advice within senior cohorts.

These experiences shaped my ability to communicate concepts clearly, guide students strategically, and support learning with structure and patience.
