I am Australian Citizen from Middle East origin. I speak fluent English, Arabic and basic level French. I am available to teach Arabic language at all levels in an easy and fun way.

I explain the material clearly and always try to make it as interesting as possible. I pace the lessons according to the student's comprehension level. I encourage the students to participate, stimulating and challenging their thinking. I am professional in creating an atmosphere that is conductive to learning. I have the ability to attract students to Arabic language and let them achieve progress within the first five lessons. My tutoring is to provide assistance and achievement like students who studies at Australian National University (ANU), Middle East and Arabic Section to achieve progress academically or those who have future travel or diplomatic posting to Arabic countries and want to communicate with Modern Simple Arabic.

Experience

I have worked as an interpreter and translator for a number of diplomatic missions including several Australian Embassy's in the Middle East, diplomatic missions, NGO company in Australia and volunteer interpreting for the United Nations Women's Guild (UNWG) in Geneva.

I taught Arabic to a teacher at the International School of Geneva, Switzerland, for two years. My Arabic tutoring enabled her to achieve a level of Arabic language in both written and spoken form to guide students from Oxford University travelling on excursion to Middle East countries. I have experience in teaching Arabic language more than 8 years.

In Canberra, my students include defence and public service employees and ANU students who want to achieve future employment in overseas humanitarian organisations (for example Middle East NGOs). I provide Arabic language support to children looking to improve their Arabic native language skills. I also teach students looking to achieve a basis level of Arabic before travelling to the Middle East on holiday. I have several learning programs available. Our first lesson will be used to explain the teaching options and to find the right program to meet your needs.

Qualifications

Graduated with Bachelor of Arts, English Literature 4 years at Damascus University.
Experience through work in Australia and overseas with multi-cultural organisations.
Experienced in direct interpreting both ways, translating journalism, media aritcles, cultrual and general topics. Knowledge of other languages like French (Medium level).

Rates

$60 per hour/ per student.
Special rates for 10 prepaid lesson packages are available.
