"Ibu Minarni was an amazing Indonesian teacher/tutor when I was completing VCE Units 1/2 and 3/4 Indonesian SL from 2020-2021. In 2021, I was hardly passing my Year 11 SACs and my speaking and writing skills were extremely poor. I could hardly put together a grammatically correct sentence. However, Ibu Minarni spotlighted my (many) weaknesses and thoroughly worked with me to improve them every lesson, while also highlighting my strengths. She was very straightforward, honest, and extremely encouraging in my learning of this language - the ideal attributes of a teacher every hard-working student needs. She not only improved my marks and overall ability in the subject, but also my confidence. At the end of 2021, under the tutelage and support of Ibu Minarni, I finished VCE Indonesian averaging 93% in SACs, and with a final study score of a raw 40 (top 9% in Victoria) - scaled 46. I am so grateful for Ibu Minarni and would definitely recommend her for anyone interested in improving their Indonesian language skills and achieve amazing things. I have to note that I was not requested to write this review whatsoever. But I truly believe that if you or your child are 1) seeking to improve your Indonesian/Malay language skills, 2) willing to work-hard and receive constructive criticism and 3) wanting to achieve your language-based goals or even surpass your own expectations - then Ibu Minarni is the perfect teacher for you."
