Lauren brings a wealth of knowledge and has developed an excellent rapport with my eight-year-old daughter, who remains engaged and focused throughout their sessions. My daughter looks forward to tutoring each week and has gained noticeable confidence at school thanks to Lauren’s ability to clarify concepts she had not fully understood in the classroom. Lauren really helped our daughter in her year 5 and year 6 maths and english subjects, after some lost years through the pandemic. Lauren was enthusiastic, encouraging and kind in helping our daughter understand concepts that she had not grasped at school, while giving her small tasks for homework that helped cement the learning from her tutoring lessons.
Our daughter's confidence and ability improved in both subjects and put her in a much better position to start high school.
We'd highly recommend Lauren to any parent looking for tutoring for their primary school child. |

Lauren was brilliant. We had been to tutors previously and my son just never responded well, but with Lauren he was immediately at ease and his overall attitude toward English changed.

Lauren has been absolutely amazing! My son loves her lessons and we have also seen great improvements in all areas of English especially writing. I am so thrilled to see that my son achieved excellent results in his Y3 NAPLAN test (all above Band 6, the highest possible score). He only started the writing coaching with Lauren at the beginning of this year. Lauren has guided him through a very structured approach, teaching him how to express better using figurative languages and boosting his confidence in writing different types of texts. We are so lucky we found Lauren. Ivan really enjoys learning with her and she absolutely inspired him in many ways. Our daughter Emilie is going into Yr 6 and with 2020 and 2021 providing challenges with consistent attendance at school due to Covid restrictions, we turned to Lauren to help tutor Emilie in Maths.
The first improvement we noticed virtually right away was confidence. Emilie often said she was no good at Maths and in many cases, simply did not try as she did not think she could correctly answer the questions. But after only a few sessions with Lauren, we noticed our daughter's confidence had dramatically improved.
We have been seeing Lauren now since the beginning of 2021 and very happy with the results. Our daughter now has a high level of confidence and also the speed in which she correcly answers both basic and more challenging questions involving addition, subtraction, division and multiplication has noticeably improved.
Emilie is a visual learner and Lauren accommodates this learning style very well. As a very experienced primary teacher, we know that Lauren will tailor the sessions to suit Emilie's learning needs while always covering off the school curriculum appropriate for her school year.
Lauren is always enthusiastic and greets Emilie with a lovely warm smile and our daughter enjoys going to see Lauren every week at a time that suits our family.
We are looking forward to returning to see Lauren after these school holidays and seeing further improvement with our daughter. |
