Sam is a very diligent, consistent tutor. He has a great nag for understanding his students individual needs. He is very gentle in his approach but gets the best out of his students in this process without them feeling the stress. He is very responsive, committed and has great understanding of his subjects. One of the best tutors I came across for my son in his grade 12, HSC. Got the best out of my son and got the best results in all the three subjects he tutored ( all band 5’s). I highly recommend Sam for Maths, Modern History and English. |

Sam did a great job preparing me for my HSC exams (maths, business studies, economics and English advanced). He was super approachable, gave me heaps of resources for not only those four subjects but the other subjects I am doing at school (he has a mountain of really good HSC resources), taught me great exam and study techniques and helped break down all the difficult content. I went from achieving average marks in all of these subjects to receiving top marks, meaning I am now ranked within the top 10 students for all these subjects, in particular, I am ranked second place in English advanced! I never thought I’d be performing at this level so thanks heaps for all the help and I definitely recommend Sam as a tutor for any other prospective students/parents |

Sam has been an excellent tutor for my two boys (yr7 & 11), and the results have been certainly been noticeable.
Sam has a great personality and the boys find him easy to approach when they are struggling with something. He has connected so well with them that they actually look forward to the tutor coming each week and practically begged to continue during the school holidays! Not just is he able to connect so well with them but he has an extensive and thorough understanding of both of their content, so much so he manages to keep them both ahead through teaching them upcoming topics and also what are usually the more difficult topics (meaning they no longer fall behind). He is also able to break down difficult topics and concepts in a very easy and simple manner, for example they no longer struggle with essay writing in English or difficult algebraic problems in maths.
Both my boys were achieving fairly average grades, and the younger one (Jamie) was certainly not as interested in school as I would have liked him to have been. However, soon after Sam began their results improved dramatically, and I even received emails from teachers who were blown away by the changes they’d seen. Now Jamie is not only doing much better at school but his confidence is much higher and he is actually enjoying it with all the attention he’s getting from his teachers. My eldest is also going into his final year of school with far more confidence and knowledge than would otherwise have been the case, and is eagerly looking at various Uni courses to set his sights on (which Sam has also helped with!)
We have had various tutors over the years but Sam is just on a completely different level, perhaps that is why we struggled to get a place when I first reached out to him! We will be sticking with him for as long as he remains a tutor or our children remain in school. Definitely recommend Sam to any parent looking for real and fast results! Angela R |
