Tony tutored me from grade 10 till graduation, in maths methods then general maths. He was the sole reason i didn’t fail in all my maths classes, picking up the slack and constantly helping me do better, and motivating me to work hard. He was a great tutor, always encouraging and while late a lot, he would stay for a full hour or more, never cutting lessons short. He is very communicative, never soft spoken and always up for a chat, while still leading you to be focused on work. Thanks to tony my worst class became my second best, beaten only by biology. Thanks tony, for being a good tutor and friend. |

Tony is a really great tutor who helped me throughout years 11 and 12. He has a friendly and supportive teaching style which made it easy to connect with him. Additionally Toney is not just knowable on the maths and physics syllabuses but also the topics more broadly. |

I hired Tony as a maths tutor when I started year 11. Getting C’s and B’s in year 10 math I needed help to achieve my goal atar of 99. With Tony’s help I achieved a 99.7 with an overall 97 in Specialist Math. Tony throughout his tutoring was extremely accomodating, flexible and engaging, teaching me concepts early so I could get ahead of class coursework. He is a great tutor, a mentor and a friend. If you want results True Education is the company to go with. |

I was half way through year 11 when I realised I needed a tutor for math methods and potentially physics in order to achieve the A’s I wanted and needed, however my past experience with tutors, especially those in STEM subjects was more along the lines of giving out material and very one dimensional explanations when I didn’t fully understand a concept. I asked some of my higher achieving friends for a recommendation and that’s when I came across Tony Nguyen. From the beginning of year 12 there was a change in not only my work ethic, but my understanding of the topics, as year 11 and 12 are closely linked. Through Tony, I was able to study ahead of my cohort in order to spend more time practising, and learning other subjects that required my attention. He was very flexible in his teaching style and he taught me differently to my friends who also learned from him. Externals was the most stressful time of the year, however it was easier since Tony also made extra time for his year 12 students, boosting my confidence going into the exams and resulting in me ultimately achieving higher results than what was predicted by my school. I couldn’t recommend a more capable tutor for maths and physics! |

I had Tony as my tutor, he helped me improve a lot in physics and methods, going into detail into certain topics and giving me exam resources and revision that helped majorly. Gone through many other tutors in the past, yet Tony is one of the best tutors on the Gold Coast, he also would be able to supply great tutoring for younger year levels. |

Tony is truly a wizard in all things Maths education! I have worked with Tony for 3 years where he has tutored my kids.
I have a son, who has graduated Somerset college class of 2021, and a daughter who just graduated last year. Prior to his engaging, both my kids were barely pushing average marks in their Maths with the preconceived notion that doing well in Maths was not in their capabilities. I heard of Tony through a friend that genuinely gave him high accolades for his previous work which led to me to contacting him and kickstarting my kids' education development. Tony helped build confidences in my daughter's maths abilities as well as her overall studies where she was able to achieve her goals of getting into medicine in university. Tony is still in contact with my son to help him with any loose maths or university questions in relations to his engineering degree. I am very proud of my kids academic success and hard work but I have to acknowledge Tony's contributions in their journey. |

Tony has been my daughter’s tutor for over 12 months. We first embarked on the search for a tutor after my daughter transferred from regular school to distance education. She lost confidence after 6 months of having a teacher who she didn’t really connect with.
Tony has been fantastic with my daughter. He is well prepared, works to the curriculum, is extremely knowledgeable and explains things in a way that is easy to understand. Initially my daughter had face to face tutoring sessions but Tony was flexible and we switched to online sessions. This was extremely helpful and meant that there were no disruptions during lockdown periods. My daughter’s confidence has been re established and her grades have improved dramatically. She is about to sit her year 12 exams and is really happy and confident with Maths Methods now. We cannot recommend Tony highly enough. If you are looking for a Maths tutor who is patient, works to build confidence, flexible, well prepared, highly experienced and extremely knowledgeable then Tony is the tutor to choose. |

After 2 years of contemplating the idea of a tutor for my son, feeling at a loss of where to turn and who to trust I came across this website and & Tony. Since the beginning of the year my son has had classes both at home and at Tony's home office and we have only wonderful feedback to share. Tony is responsive, skilled, prepared, prompt, built good rapport with my teenage son, flexible and accommodating with times and sessions. My only complaint is I wish we found him sooner!
Highly recommended, would definitely contact Tony if we ever needed a Maths or Physics tutor in future. |
