I had Sophia Stewart as my English tutor from Year 10 right through to the HSC and I'm so glad I found her just in time to get my English back on track. English used to stress me out more than any other subject... I could read the books and sort of understand them, but I was terrible at turning that into a proper essay, especially when the question was worded in a tricky way. Sophia actually taught me how to plan and write instead of just handing back corrections and she will pull a question apart until I understood what it was really asking, and then she'd make me write a thesis that actually answered it instead of just retelling the story.
The HSC was a long, stressful couple of years, and there were weeks where I was exhausted and everything felt like too much. Sophia was patient when I got frustrated and never made me feel stupid for not getting something the first time. Having that regular support made a huge difference!!
By the time trials and the real HSC came around, I felt so much more confident.
Thank you, Sophia, for all the help with essays, analysis, writing and exam technique, and for the support when the HSC felt like it would never end. I really appreciated both and wish you the best for your future law endeavours and thank u for your classes! (づ｡◕‿‿◕｡)づ ٩(◕‿◕)۶ |

Sophia started teaching my daughter with only half of the HSC year left and she really made a significant impact on my daughters confidence in her essay writing and speaking skills especially coming from a bilingual background. Thank you and I would really recommend her teaching. |

Sophia is an incredible teacher. I began the HSC super stressed and burnt out and she really helped me get back on track with everything. She set out an entire action plan for the next couple of months and helped me achieve my HSC goals. I finally ended up with my dream ATAR of 99.85!!!! Thank you so much |

Sophia has been an incredible tutor for the last 2 years of high school. When I first starting tutoring with her my English marks averaged at around 70% and now I have achieved a 99 Extension 1 mark in the HSC and 99 English advanced mark. Thank you so much for your help over the years. |

Sophia has helped me through my English Advanced studies and has helped me significantly improve my essay writing, from achieving band 4's to band 6's by the end of the HSC year. I ended up achieving a 99.75 ATAR and English Advanced mark of 99. Thank you for teaching me during the HSC Sophia, you have been such a great help. |

Sophia is excellent and very reliable. I have been with her through Year 11 and 12. At first I had been struggling with English, however, I improved quickly with her guidance and managed to graduate last year with Band 6 results. Thank you for all the time you spent giving me feedback outside of our lessons this year :,( that helped so much |
