Liza is an outstanding Greek tutor. Her lessons are always well structured, personalised to my level, and explained in a way that makes even complex grammar easy to understand. She puts a huge amount of preparation into each session and keeps the lessons engaging, practical, and enjoyable.
I’ve made consistent progress in my Greek through her clear explanations, patience, and focus on real world speaking, not just theory. Liza creates a supportive learning environment while still pushing you to improve, which makes a big difference over time.
I would highly recommend Liza to anyone serious about learning Greek, whether for conversation, travel, or deeper understanding of the language. |

Liza is an amazing tutor, I completed 89 lessons with her and she gave me personalised and very thorough tutoring. The tutoring was catered for my level and she explained all topics in depth and put a lot preparation into each lesson. Liza also taught her lessens in very engaging and interesting ways. Overall my Greek improved enormously and can highly recommend her. |

Liza has been my niece and nephew's tutor for the past 6 months. Aged 10 and 9 respectively, they have both found Liza to been very engaging and have enjoyed her classes immensely. Her teaching expertise has exceeded our expectations. Liza is a very knowledgeable and experienced tutor with the ability to communicate advanced concepts grammar in a manner that is intuitive and enjoyable. I have found that both my niece and nephew and progressed in their ability to read and understand Greek text as well as write and hold conversations in Greek. We have found that online (one-on-one) tutoring is far superior to learning in a classroom setting. I thoroughly recommend Liza. |

I decided to take my children out of Greek School and trial private tutoring. I found Liza on here and explained our circumstances and she was very accommodating adapting her teaching to meet my children's level of learning.
My children have weekly lessons and it has worked out really well. I would highly recommend Liza. She is a great teacher, professional and willing to work with families and children to achieve the best outcome. |

Liza tutored me in Greek for what was roughly a year! Our lessons catered to my ability level and progressed with a comfortable complexity, incorporating the revision of previous weeks work into new learnings/ lessons. We did lots of written work which I thoroughly enjoyed and spoken work throughout also. I really wanted to learn the details of the language, ie. verb conjugation, word breakdowns etc and Liza always made these easily understandable.
Through my time with Liza, I was able to be around family (in-laws) speaking and conversing in Greek and be able to pick up on/recognise what was being spoken about with greater understanding and speed. I always enjoyed and still enjoy conversations or hearing the spoken language and having those moments of realisation - those moments when you have heard the language and understood it as almost second nature. I believe these abilities I have are a direct result of my lessons with Liza and would recommend her to anyone seeking one to one Greek tutoring. Besides being a wonderful tutor, Liza is caring, has a beautiful nature and is easy going :) |
