He offers many resources, as well as quick to answer questions and give helpful feedback in and out of class. |

honestly going into english language this year i was so confused about content with a change of teacher. the help that evan gave me with clarification on all aspects on content made me feel way more confident with understanding how to answer all parts of the exam.
Furthermore, the way that evan teaches with the small group classes with the ability to bounce ideas off each other, in combination with all the resources available through notion made it so easy.
overall i loved tutoring this year and evan made me so much more confident with eng lang understanding. |

Evan was so good for me, he is so knowledgeable and the way he teaches is really interactive and easy to follow. Evan transforms such a tricky subject into something digestable and fun.
Yes, Englang is tricky, but with Evan’s help you can navigate its difficulties and nuances.
Without Evan I don’t think I would have got a 25, he truly helped me so much, and he put in so much time and effort even outside of class time with regards to marking work. |

After attending Evan’s lessons, walking into english language at school made me feel much more confident because Evan always made sure that we knew our stuff and double checked everything by looking at the study design for any doubts. This reassured us that we were learning the right things in tutor. Evan always provided us with the most detailed and effective feedback making it easy for us to reflect and improve with every new submission of work that we handed in for marking. I saw the gradual improvements in my practise sacs as I continued to use his feedback. Before starting class, I was hesitant about the thought of doing tutor online, however Evan managed to make class interactive so that we could not be distracted. I felt like his classes were always effective as they were taught in a way where each student was put to the test in timed conditions and received feedback on the spot as we moved along with class. To keep track of our learning resources, the use of notion made everything a hundred times easier as everything was so organised. On top of this, the notion page was loaded with information so there was nothing missing the entire year. Overall, I’m very satisfied with how tutoring went with EnglangX and I hope other students are able to benefit from Evan’s classes as well. My advice to a new student would be to use Evan and his resources to your heart’s content, keep sending him practise sacs because Evan somehow manages to get back to everyone or will make time for you if required. |
