My daughter was taught by Jun. She was just average student in human biology ATAR class in year 11. However Jun motivated and taught Aika in such a way that my daughter became the top student in human biology by the end of year 12 and awarded the Dux of year 12 human biology ATAR. Now she was offered an early entry to UWA and is planning to study Bachelor of Science. Jun is excellent in tutoring and one of the exceptional tutors. We are very lucky to find Jun. |

Mr Jun Kim has been the best tutor I have ever had. He changed grades from fails in some subjects to scoring high A’s and topping the class in many assessments/assignments. Not only does he make himself available at almost anytime you need, additionally he wholeheartedly goes through any queries and assessments you may have, whilst offering the best academic advice for you to continue to improve and for you to master an array of study and scheduling skills, that I personally continue to use. He teaches you how to learn content correctly, as well as having a great work and life balance. I would a 100% recommend him to anyone, whether you are starting from the top or bottom, his tactics are sure to assist you in some shape or form! 😊 |

I’d like to thank Jun for making these last two years of ATAR slightly less impossible. Each session I came away more motivated than ever and had a clear direction of where I needed to go. Jun is a dedicated, easy going tutor, who doesn’t pressure you, instead simply encourages you to persevere through any challenges, as he genuinely understands and cares for each of his students. He has an abundance of knowledge and plenty of resources beyond school textbooks which proved useful, and his method of teaching with his “quirky” analogies made understanding the harder topics easier. Bonus points for the cute doggie Ivory who would visit sometimes :) |

I started chemistry in year 11, I was unsure of my ability as I would get in the low 60s. However when I went tutoring with Jun my grades improved dramatically. In year 12, both my 1st and 2nd exams I did very well getting 80 and 77 respectively . Jun is very thorough in his explanation of chemistry and is passionate about teaching. He also provides advice on how to study which I found helpful in other subjects as well. Jun has experience in teaching ATAR chemistry as he has past exams and knows what will be tested. He also provides papers and text books during the session. Furthermore Jun is encouraging and provides motivation and makes chemistry interesting and easier understand. I would highly recommend Jun as he is definitely worth it. |

He’s very nice, patient, passionate and very thorough when he teaches. At the start of this year, I was just passing (like low C’s) for majority of my ATAR courses, and for human bio and chemistry I WAS STRUGGLING. But over the year, my grades for Chem and Human bio drastically improved but it’s a shame that I did quite ‘badly’ at the start of the year, I might’ve landed an A overall. Also I learnt a lot of things beyond the textbook in which I found quite interesting, and thank goodness because some stuff he taught me was in my WACE exam. He helped me understand each topic as we went through my textbooks, also went through his ‘golden notes’ which I found useful and helpful. To be honest it’s thanks to him that I was able to not only improve my grades for Chem and Human bio but to also come to like the two subjects. Well for Math Methods, that’s another story that doesn’t need to be brought up. He is capable of teaching math methods but I literally gave up on it, I was more focused on improving the science subjects anyways. |

I started chemistry tutoring at the start of semester 2 of year 12 after I got 57% in the chem exam and only just passing my tests. After only one semester of tutoring my overall mark went up significantly and I got 70% in my MOCK exam and finished on 64% overall. Jun helped me improve my understanding as well as my confidence with answering questions. I would highly recommend as he is most definitely worth the money. |
