My lessons with Jonathan had pushed my writing to new heights, giving me not only improved fluency but also greater confidence and self-assurance. Having access to that 24/7 one-on-one feedback was a life-saver, especially with busy teachers during year 12. I can’t thank Jonathan enough, he has no-doubt contributed to my success throughout high school and I’d recommend his services to anyone looking to thrive in VCE English. |

Jonathan teaches two of my children, one in grade 10 and the second child in grade 6. Jonathan provides very organised lessons based on individual child’s requirements. He understands where they can be challenged further and is patient with their learning struggles. He is very knowledgeable and uses various teaching tools/platforms to give deeper understanding which is helping them a lot. My kids are eager to attend classes each week. Their school results are showing great improvement. |

I started my tutor session with Mr. Byron at the beginning of year 12 to improve my English skills.
Throughout the year, his lessons are engaging and easy to comprehend. He has not only demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the subject (e.g. essay structure, word choice, analytical skill…) but also taken consideration of my specific strengths and weaknesses, and arranged my lesson contents accordingly to suit my needs.
Mr. Byron provides valuable homework to improve my essay structure and language skills. Appreciating my year 12 status, he demonstrated a high level of empathy and consideration for my mental health and workload by always controlling the amount of work he provided me to a manageable amount.
Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my tutor sessions with Mr. Byron, highly recommend him! |

Jon has made an indelible impact on my son's English proficiency, standing out as an exceptional educator. His personalized approach to teaching, tailored to my son's specific needs, has transformed learning into an engaging and effective experience, significantly bolstering my son's understanding and confidence.
What sets Jon apart is his ability to create a nurturing and supportive environment where my son feels at ease asking questions and taking educational risks. Jon's consistent communication, providing me with regular feedback, has been invaluable in keeping us well-informed and aligned on my son's developmental progress. |

Jonathan has been my sons (twin boys) English tutor for some time now, and I highly recommend him as a tutor for your children - this is also my professional opinion as an experienced secondary teacher. My wife and I have seen our boys make noticeable gains over the past few years from mid/lower end of the class to high/very high achievement, one of my boys even topped his English exam last year which was amazing. This is a testament to his excellent tutoring and with our sons moving into VCE subjects very soon I am very happy to have Jonathan continue to support our sons progress. Not only have their English results improved but this has also had a knock on effect of lifting their humanities results as well. |

Jonathan was able to identify areas of improvement for our son and tailored lessons accordingly; focusing on writing, reading comprehension, vocabulary building, sentence structure, etc. What I appreciate most about Jonathan is that he is patient and has high teaching standards.
Moreover, his encouragement and undaunted honest feedback are very important for my son's learning experience. At the end of the year my son’s school teacher had noticed a significant improvement in his English and applauded him. Credit to Jonathan for his teaching experience and passion in helping kids with their English. - Jacqualine |

Johnathan has been tutoring my two sons for over two terms now, they are in year 8. I have noticed a definite improvement in my sons written expression. Johnathan sets ambitious work loads for my boys which is excellent, despite the protestations from my sons. Having online lessons is convenient for myself and my boys. I have no doubt that my original aim to improve my sons written expression has been achieved and is continuing to improve, this will pay dividends for VCE. |

My son is taking tuition from Jonathan for English for the past 2 months. My son is in grade 12. I can see a very good result based on his test outcomes. Jonathan's approach is challenging my son to finish his work on time, nudging him to do even better. Jonathan provides extra study material which is very useful. I would definitely recommend him. |

I find Mr Jonathan Byron a great teacher. He is patient, resourceful, and best of all, open to questions, disagreements and extra comments. He is a reasonable English tutor, and is always free and quick to reply to emails and answer questions. Mr Jonathan Byron is also open to testing when something is not right. For example, in the fourth lesson he said we were to switch from Zoom to Skype because we were getting kicked off after 40 minutes on Zoom. I find that all these value contribute to being a great teacher. Mr Jonathan Byron is one of the many teachers who show all these values, making him the top dog, the champion, and the gold medallist. |

Jonathan is really responsible teacher, we got a reading group and have him for the literacy teacher. He can always motivate kids for the reading, and use his knowledge to broaden kids horizon, helps them to read more, think more, and use the leaned skill in writing.
We are quite happy for his teaching. |

To whom it may concern,
Jonathan has been coaching our daughter for Year 12 VCE English Literature over the past five months. He has provided meaningful feedback on her work with constructive lessons and frameworks that support her school assignments, and prepare our daughter for her VCE English units.
We are very happy with Jonathan’s attentive and encouraging approach, and feel extremely confident that his lessons will not only enable our daughter to better her grades but also improve her competence over the long term.
Yours sincerely,
