Before I began tutoring, I had really struggled with maths, but by Year 11-12, General Maths was my best subject, and I can give Hong full credit for that. Hong is patient and explains tricky concepts in more simple ways which makes comprehension easier and quicker. I often found that Hong taught me better methods to solve problems than my own teachers at school did. Hong is very dedicated and passionate about tutoring, and this is clear in how she teaches. I owe much of my success in maths to Hong and would highly recommend her to others in the future. |

Being a student aiming to achieve high study scores myself, she was able to quickly and succinctly summarise all the easier concepts and then handpicked the more challenging questions to go through with me in class. With her, I was able to achieve a study score of 50 in maths methods in year 11. Despite contracting COVID right before my exams in year 12, I was still able to get a 45 in specialist and a 43 in chemistry thanks to her help. She has a vast number of resources from all different schools and I highly recommend her as a tutor. |

My 2 years with Hong was awesome because she is such a great tutor and really helped me improve in methods. I always found maths to be hard to understand because most teachers at school just goes through examples with no further explanations about the concept itself. Due to this, when the questions change I am unable to solve them. Hong really helped me overcome this through explaining key concepts and why. As a bonus, she is super nice and caters to all your needs. In our sessions, we go over whatever I needed so all my questions were answered. I wouldn't be able to survive methods without her! |
