We discovered our daughter was behind in reading, writing, and comprehension after changing schools, and another parent at the new school recommended Sarah to us. After two terms of weekly sessions, our 9-year-old has completely caught up with her class and, most importantly, is so much more confident in all areas of English. Her handwriting has also improved immensely, thanks to Sarah's instruction.
Sarah is incredibly attentive and takes the time to understand each child’s individual needs. She tailored her approach beautifully to target our daughter’s specific learning gaps and made every session engaging and supportive.

Sarah is warm, engaging and knowledgeable. She helped my son feel at ease quickly and got right to work identifying where he needed further development. He can now construct sentences faster, more effortlessly and has started showing more expansion of vocabulary. She also encourages hand writing and reading. |

As a mature aged student returning to university I needed some help with fine-tuning my academic writing. Sarah has been beyond what I could have hoped for. She is an incredible writer, an amazing teacher, and has made writing and editing an enjoyable process. Sarah takes her time to tailor each session to my specific needs. Sarah tailored a program for my level of language use. Whenever I went to her place I could relax as she always had a program that was just for me and where I was at. This gave me a lot of confidence. It took me a while to really see how everything was changing and I started to be able to read more easily and then very easily. The hardest thing was developing daily practices of reading and writing (apart from her practice tasks) to build onto the things she was teaching me, because I was not a regular reader, though I am now. And I had rarely written anything at all in my life. Now I can write anything I want and I am not afraid to write for other people and work. I like how she is always enthusiastic and doubly so when I am really getting something new. |
