I called Simon 2 weeks before my grade 12 external exams as there were a few topics that I was struggling with. We had two 2hr sessions in which Simon explained the topics in a easy to understand way. I felt much more comfortable going into the exam. I ended up with a 39/50 result which is much higher than expected. My only regret is that I didn’t call him sooner. My ATAR was good enough to secure a course in Aviation at Griffith. Simon tutored me for Tertiary Aerospace and Physics. Simon has an extensive knowledge of Aviation and Physics. He is been able to explain complex Aviation and Physics topics clearly. Due to Simons excellent tutoring skills I have a far more in-depth knowledge of Aerospace and Physics. Thus I have been able to achieve straight high distinctions in my studies. |

What separates Simon from these tutors is that, not only does he do this, but he also does it is an engaging and unique way. Simon started tutoring our daughter in Year 12 Physics early in 2021. Simon is very approachable and our daughter found him easy to engage and communicate with. Simon's positive guidance encouraged our daughter to pursue unique research/experiments in Physics throughout the year. Simon seeks to ensure basic understandings of principles, issues and theories are achieved in order that calculations and problems can be properly undertaken. Simon's assistance resulted in our daughter consistently receiving A+ results all year in Physics, regularly coming in the first couple of Yr 12 students throughout the year, plus she received an Excellence Award from the Australian Institute of Physics. |

Simon tutored me last year in my Year 12 Engineering subject. Simon explained the concepts well. He always performed further research into topics if he needed to, and came back the following week with all of the knowledge required to assist me with working out the problems. At the start of the tutoring sessions, he helped me to set goals, and worked out how I was going to achieve these goals. I recommend Simon for anyone studying an Engineering subject. |

Simon taught my daughter in VCE computing/IT and we are forever grateful for his kindness. Apart from his extensive technical knowledge in his field, it was his patience, gentleness and encouraging nature that we appreciated even more.
Simon was able to read my daughter's needs and aim the work to her level to ensure that she remained engaged. He also went out of his way to find and borrow an IT book from his university library for her to use - very thoughtful!
Simon was also 100% on time, very flexible around our schedules and very often stayed on longer to finish off the work. I have no problems in recommending Simon as he is genuinely interested in helping others and teaching others, no matter what stage they're at in their learning. |

Simon was my tutor in university physics. After failing physics in the first semester, I found Simon to help with my class, and I passed physics in the second semester. Simon is a highly educated, passionate and patient tutor, who would always make sure I understood all the physics concepts, and would help me understand why I would be applying certain formulas. Simon not only helped me understand physics, but would also along the way help me with my maths skills - which is an invaluable skill to have.
Thanks to Simon, I am now confident with physics and maths. I am able to read textbooks and attend classes and understand the concepts, and what is being taught. I never felt like I was asking a dumb question - which is one of the best traits of a good tutor, and I always looked forward to my lessons with him.
I would absolutely recommend Simon as a tutor for anybody looking for help in maths and science. |
